ZFR: Bad people can just get the games from Pirate Bay.

Your idea will only hurt legit users.

The whole DRM free idea is largely trust based. If you're going to make users jump through, then you might as well just introduce DRM.

TedMosly: Yeah... but pirate games with gog is more simple.. :/
Yes, but if you're going to pirate GOG games you can just get it from torrents anyway. There is no need to go to lengths to get refunds. Your idea will only hurt legit users.

tburger: I think OP mix refund (GOG gives your money back) from charge back (it's credit card / bank service)
GOG can't ban chargebacks.

No. Once you initiated a download, the game cannot be refunded (unlike e.g. on Steam, where, if you have a crack or the game is DRM-free, it's possible to copy then refund to exploit Steam's cdn) unless there's a problem with it. And, generally speaking, if you're anywhere in the first world, faking the back and forth with Support would cost you more than the game in human-hours.

TL;DR you have a solution in search of a problem and also a fat PR hit. Noice.
