When I browse the discounted games, I want sort the list by the price (lowest first). Or I want sort the list by the discount (most discounted first). See Steam / wishlist for what I mean. Both sorting methods has been very useful for a game collector like me.
Oh yes, we all want and many have wished for these repeatedly for many years, me too me too.

I'm looking for an answer to the same issue. It seems like such a no-brainier to have a sort by price option that somebody must have made a conscious decision to leave that functionally it. Any programmer worth a grain of salt would immediately add a sort by price option unless specifically directed not to include that functionally.
Oh wow. I was trying to look through games on a spring sale and I just couldn't believe there is no search by price or discounts :O I kept opening "sort" drop down menu again and again because I was so sure this cant be true and my eyes are failing me! I guess it is an issue and it still isn't fixed. No way I'm looking through every game on all pages, my eyes started hurting on page 5... that is pretty frustrating :/
This absolutely! I want to be able to find good deals. I'm not going to scroll through 47 pages of games that are on sale and look through all the -10% games to find the deals I would be interested in. Please implement this.
I really wonder why GOG is so resistant to the idea of selling more games on a sale by making it easier to find them. They have been asked so often for better sorting and filter options by so many customers. But they keep ignoring this request.
Maybe it's about making the really big discounts harder to find so that less games are bought at such a high discount in order to earn both GoG and the developer more money... it's the only reason I can think of.

I've dabbled in game design / development, and there is a prevalent feeling that the sale culture as created by Steam, first and foremost, devalues the amount of work that goes into a game because people will very often just wait for a sale and then buy it at a highly discounted price.

Still, if there is a sale I want to be able to actually make use of it, even if I see and acknowledge the other side.
I ignore larger sales for this reason. It has been my gripe since day one. It takes very little work to implement a sort by price, or discount, so there is obviously a reason they have chosen not to add this feature over all these years. I can make many guesses as to why, but the end result is, I won't, and have not, participated in these big sales. It is a shame as I even buy things I won't even play if it is cheap enough. I guess GOG is doing me a favor in some ways by keeping me from spending money...
Exactly. If they make it hard for me to spend my money I will just keep it.
Also filters by genre and 50% or 75% min discount would be VERY useful, fortunately isthereanydeal can do that but not genres afaik
Hey, thank you for the hint! It's a pretty sad state of affairs if I need third party websites to see which deals are interesting on GoG.
For anyone interested, user ciemnogrodzianin has made a list of the games in the summer sale sorted by price.
I totally agree with this suggestion. I also miss these sorting options from the store. Sorting the game list by price (from low to high, and from high to low) is basic function everywhere. Sorting by the discount rate would be very useful. Please add these options to the store sorting function. Thank you very much! :)
This post deserves a looooong overdue bump.

GOG, why can't we sort by price like 99% of other stores? There has to have been a conscious decision and effort to *NOT* include that ability. It's very, very rare I find myself on a site that allows purchases and does not allow sorting products by price. It defies all pro-consumer logic. Please add! :)

Quick edit...I found another post from 2017 also requesting this basic sort ability. GOG, why are you slacking on such a basic site functionality request for so long? All that time spent on the new Galaxy client but still no "sort by price" option...MmmmK...
