Been thinking about joining but, call me stupid if you must, how exactly do things work in the club?

Is it just like here you just post a code in the page and the first one gets it? But on Steam.

I'm usually a cheapskate but I suppose if I gift someone one of the obscure indie games only I seem to like they'll have no option but to play them right? That might make me a little more generous.

steam gifts randomises the winner (you have to join there first and have a £100 / $100 of games on your steam account as it syncs - summat like that!

By the way, I agree with adambiser: Civ 3 Complete is truly an amazing game. When Civ 3 first launched, it got somewhat mixed reviews, but the second expansion is wonderful and fixed most of the issues, in my opinion. It is very fast paced, very different to the current Civ 5. If you have only played the newer version, it's worth checking it out.
