I guess #1 sounds reasonable, better sooner than late.
I would like to kindly ask to become a member. I have read over the rules and would love to join.

I have been a member of steamgifts for a bit now but I have never entered anything or even used the site. However, I have a nice group of game waiting for some good homes.

Sure! Invite sent, welcome to the group ^_^
Thank you so much =D
#1, just make a new thread.
New ones, absolutely. You can link to the old ones in the first post of each, so they don't become lost, but you should be able to update and control the current information.

Exactly my thoughts.

Been in this group for a while and was suddenly kicked. Why?
I wasn't given any warning or anything. Was just booted.

JMich: Here.
So I was kicked because of a relatively new rule I didn't know about with no warning. I have been in this group before those rules were even in place. I didn't even know about them cause I don't ever see any announcements. I think banning me from the group is a bit harsh considering I didn't get any warning and if I knew about those 2 new ones I would have considered them before I entered any more giveaways. Plus it's not like I have never given back almost all of the giveaways I do are either here on the forum or directly for the group on Steam Gifts. I think a warning and it being brought to my attention should have been issued instead of just straight out removing me forever.

The [url=http://steamcommunity.com/groups/GOGGIFT]group's page on Steam also included all the updated information, and after all this time you still didn't know? Sorry, but this only shows how inactive you were here and for not paying attention to the comments here and to the descriptions of the giveaways creators on SG.

I don't ever look here. I only posted here because I was kicked. I have never seen mention of them in the giveaways thread and the posts in the giveaways are just links to the rules. They never said anything about new rules or I would have looked. You guys may have been posting them, but unless you are new or looking for them it is prolly likely a lot of us people who have been in the group for a while missed them because we don't specifically look to see if new rules were put in place. Hell I didn't even know the group page on Steam was active as it was cause I never got any announcements from it till I actually went to the page. And it's not me being inactive, it's me not knowing that I had to constantly be on the look out for new rules in case I didn't want to be banned.

I was wondering, when I look at the GOGGift group in Steamgifts - on the group page - it says we have 211 members. But when I look at the group on Steam it says we have 320 members. That is quite a big difference! Shouldn't these two numbers be identical?

Does anybody here know why that is?

Could it be that we have people with Steam accounts in the group that do not have a Steamgifts account? Probably people from the older groups, before linking to the Steam Gifts profile became mandatory.
