Okay, the list has been updated!
"Broken Sword: Director's Cut" runs on Linux without Steam as well. The Windows version is already on the list.
Added The Banner Saga to the list, tested in Windows 10. It requires that the steam_api.dll be deleted or renamed.
"Might and Magic X: Legacy" - MAC version works without Steam and without uPlay. Just move the game out of the steamapps folder and start it by double clicking the app. Steam can even be unistalled.

There is not even a login request for a uPlay account in that version of the game (unlike R.U.S.E., grumble, grumble).

What about Uplay, though? Can it work if it's uninstalled?

The Mac version of "Might and Magic X: Legacy" does not require the uPlay client (there is not even a uPlay client available for OS X).

The windows version does, however, need to log into the uPlay client.

Whoa, there's a login request for RUSE? That's interesting, since the store page doesn't list Uplay as a third-party DRM.

Also, yeah, it's pretty cool that Mac doesn't have Uplay. It DOES have the old Ubisoft launcher, though, as evidenced by Assassin's Creed II, so it's cool that Might & Magic doesn't use it. I've added it to the list.
My contribution:

Death rally (but it'll be offline only)
DLC Quest
FaeVerse Alchemy (only in Early Access)
Freedom Planet
Guilty Gear Isuka
Jack Orlando: A Cinematic Adventure
KrissX
Party of Sin
Penguins Arena
Saturday Morning RPG
Secret of the Magic Crystal
Septerra Core
World of Goo (1.3 seems to remove Steam dependency)

Some new games to be added. Win 8.1

Close Your Eyes
Déjà Vu II: MacVenture Series
Keen Dreams
Mega Coin Squad - Will try to start Steam. Works anyway. If you delete steam_api.dll or SteamworksNative.dll it'll give you a black screen.
Ninja Pizza Girl

Thanks for the updates, guys. I have most of these added, and I'll add the rest later.
