I'll continue to complain about most of these not having any regional prices for years and years.

I want to buy these games, but want fair regional pricing. Come on.

Joke's on you, because Activision is universally unfair :P.
Another publisher sale with no new games?
avatar
WinterSnowfall: How about releasing that otherwise unavailable Warcraft 3 + FT(in its original glory), eh Blizzard/Activision?

Maybe you could chip in Starcraft and Diablo II as well.

If you want our money, of course. Otherwise we'll simply keep it. Ein't that a shame though? All that spare change hanging heavily in our pockets? :P
If you still have your old Diablo 2 CD keys you can already download a DRM-free installer from their site, you just have to convert them to the new key system by binding them to your account. I kinda doubt we'll see StarCraft here, as they were already giving it away for free.

Most of these games are actually cheaper on Steam. I'd prefer to own them here, though, since it's easier to get these to work with mods / ScummVM and such.

Wouldn't that be something. :)

Hopefully they don't wait until Hell freezes over. Then again, they are a Blizzard, so who knows?

lupineshadow: Maybe that's why it's a Special Sale?
I meant the base price. GOG tends to be much cheaper for me than Steam... but it's not the case here.
I don't even need new titles, would be happy with just patches for both Interstate games to run on Win 10.
Some good older games...

... but...

... those "sale prices" read more like what I'd expect regular prices would be for same. And Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines pricing is just kinda a joke at this point. Oh well, not a big deal... just kinda weird.

kai2: And Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines pricing is just kinda a joke at this point.
I never did understand the absurd pricing about that game. It may well be a good game, but I had just as much fun with Half Life 2, Thief Deadly Shadows, Syberia 2, Rise of Nations, etc, that are exactly the same age and are 8-10x cheaper...

Lots of interesting games, more than 20 of them on my wishlist, with still not so interesting discounts. :/
HARD PASS.

wolfsite: So is this a hint that Activision is going to finally release a few more games here?

Though at the same time with all the news the company has been making the past few weeks I don't know if I want to support them
avatar
bluethief: The latest Star Trek games released here have Activision as the publisher, so I think those count as such.

What's not new are these discounted prices, no matter how many sales we got: 20% for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, 35% on Soldier of Fortune and 50% on Timeshift, just to name a few.

Activision being Activision.
Ya, I was at work and it hit me then... along with my palm hitting my forehead. I was seeing them as Star Trek games not Activision games.
