Next delay guess: Russian ransomware directed solely at Cleve.
...Locking out his build files, and the backups....well the backups were managed by non-Cleve Blakemore geniuses.
I only just heard about this a few days ago on /v/. It's amazing how insane Cleve is. Guess those superior Neanderthal genes come with a few quirks.

That's not amazing, that's called pathological lying.
Grimoire's issues turned into nanoissues which turned into microscopic misinterpretations...

It's now 2017 and CBlakeman is acting like a slighted ex-girlfriend whenever someone calls him out

So those microscopic misinterpretations have turned into the dreaded microaggression

Don't get me started on his "muh dick's bigger than yours" military rant. LITERALLY only POGs do that...so he should've shut the hell up to begin with.

Meanwhile in the real world CBlakeman has just now on 7/8/17 decided to implement save files that carry over to newer versions on a game being developed for 20 years...

I'm cracking the hell up there's people who actually think this dude is a "perfectionist" and not a load that should've been swallowed.

OneFiercePuppy: You mean like every other time there has been a release date given over the last thirteen years?

You're adorable. I hope you're right. But let's face it - you're not.

Hrymr: I'm half-joking of course, but Steam store page usually means that Valve recived game files and checked if the code is safe.
Not at all. I have a game that i'm going to sell on Steam and being able to put up a store page just means you went through greenlight and have entered your bank info.
That's it. Takes a max of a day if you enter everything after you've been greenlit.
Then, once the data has been verified, you have access to all the steam tools, including the store page you can create.

That store page might just be another trick to set up another crowdfunding attempt after he comes up with yet another bug or something similar, like he only needs a few months and the support of gamers to finally finish the game.
Let's be real, it's a total scam and the game does not even exist.

Check the "screenshots". Notice how the characters are the same on every screen, and the inventory as well ?
Why wouldn't you make screenshots of other playthrough, to show the diversity and all the choices you can make ?
=> Because there's no game, that's why.

Let's all be fair now.

RPG Maker isn't cheap (ha),
and Cleve has probably (haha) been working hard the past eight days to throw something together in it.

Careful everyone. The Almighy Cleve trolls forums and bans all who post negativity. Well if you outsmart him that is. Cheers all. More Grimoire forums to report on.....
I never get tired of the Grimoire drama. I honestly hope Cleve releases the thing and it is a title screen followed by a picture of Astley. Hold onto that feeling folks, that's what living tastes like.
So, I was looking for gameplay of what actually exists of this game (a few demo builds) and stumbled upon this...

This is... Truly something...

I think I've had enough of this game and its creator for a lifetime.

That Sick Developer, Just compared the delay of his game to the Challenger Spaces shuttle disaster where Real people died. I know people who had relatives on that mission. If I knew where He lived in Australia I would go beat the crap out of him.
Another excuse update has been posted to Steam.
This time: blame the delay on Steam

He was just making a point about how a small problem can turn into a much bigger problem and that rechecking for such small problems is a wise thing to do because small problems can lead to severe consequences.

So hell hasn't frozen over yet?
Oh the irony, Cleve deletes critical posts from a thread where he describes himself as hypermasculine...

... but neglects to delete the posts that quote the deleted post
