Ok, even more obscure one. When you go to Paradise Falls, the child slaves need rescuing. The smart kid who helps you organize their RELEASE... his name is... wait for it... SQUIRREL.
haha im going to be gutted if you're wrong.

Playing the psychic/conspiracy card isn't difficult. Costs nothing, very little is lost if wrong, and when occasionally right the predictor gets all kinds of accolades and is seen as a visionary. Psychic hotlines and palm readers have made billions on the concept. Point being - you throw enough darts at the board, sooner or later one or two will hit a bulls-eye. It's human RNG.

GOG could have gone with anything for its sale background, yet it chose an animated backdrop that is loaded with subtle Fallout hints, and at a time during F4's release window. A bit too many coincidences.

SeduceMePlz: And by 'surprise' I mean of course GOG releases of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas to coincide with the release of Fallout 4? Have there been any hints from Bethesda or GOG? Do you think it's likely?

I've been wanting to replay Fallout 3, so I'm hoping for that game at least.

Not a hope in hell...

Emob78, I hope you are right. I'd finally be able to purchase Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas then. But don't you think the likelihood is a bit less considering that we already had a Fallout collection bundle in this sale?

0Grapher: Let's hope GOG won't officially sell it in Germany because otherwise we would from then on be getting censored games like the Australians.
There's no way that Bethesda will allow GOG to sell the uncensored version here.
Oh yes, it's so censored that I didn't even know it was censored until I accidentally came across it on the internet. Continued to play the game with zero [cares] given.

I certainly think a Fallout 4 release here is less than likely. However, I can only guess but it seems like a Fallout 3/New Vegas release had to have been part of the deal between GOG and Bethesda... and coming so soon around the time of Fallout 4's release date. Lots of coincidences, and they could be just that. But it could also be something more. Having a Fallout sale bundle on day 1 of the fall sale, along with the subtle hints being thrown around, I'm going with the something more option.

Pretty much exactly how Michael Pachter makes a living...
I'm looking more for Oblivion and Skyrim on 11/11, the anniversary of Skyrim's release. :D

Fallout 3 isn't censored in Australia, but it is in Germany and Japan. 0Grapher is talking about Australia being the only region on GOG as of yet that is getting a different version of a game than others (Witcher 2).

And they are not sold at all in India. (Fallout 3 and NV)

Starkrun: I wouldn't be surprised to see RAGE, Doom3, Quake 4 and Fallout 3 here soon. Doom3 and Quake4 are already DMRfree with the latest patches, RAGE is... well, rather can be as indicated by the files. And Fallout 3 already ditched GFWL and has a DRMfree exe officially created so... there is that :)
I was also suspecting that Doom 3 and Quake 4 would come here soon (possibly this month or maybe next?), especially due to how the timing of the Bethesda releases seems like a month-long gap in between (Doom and others for August 28, Quake II and others for October 1). I also do hope Oblivion gets here as well, however, since we haven't seen an Elder Scrolls game as recently as the other Bethesda releases.
Is it just me or does GOG not update threads properly? For example, right now I can see that last post was made 13 minutes ago in www.gog.com/forum but when I click the thread I can't access beyond the second page.

Edit: It got fixed now but all this time reloading it did nothing. So does anyone know why that is?

yes, it is. The game was refused classification here, originally. Australia is the reason the UK and North America are changed too. Hello, I live here, I don't need you to try and correct me. It's pretty easy to find too if you typed a few words in Google.

Is the Australian version of Fallout 3 the same as the vast majority of the world? Yes it is, so I wouldn't call it censored, especially when said uncensored version was never released. Contrast this to the German and Japanese versions which are different than the American/European/Australian versions.

Wish you were right. I have done about everything that could be done (with a "small exception" of main quest) in Oblivion, and it kept me interested the whole time. Great game and must-buy.

Fallout series... I played few hours of Fallout 1. Not exactly a bad game, but dated and there were more interesting titles in my backlog. There still are. And I never touched FO3/NV so far... It doesn't mean I wouldn't buy them here, Bethesda has good track record with open world RPGs in fantasy setting, I'm willing to check if they got post-apoc setting right too.
