Doom2 is the best game ever for me. I can't count how many times we all crowded together in my apartment to link up our computers and frag each other all night. That game was awesome and although there are many great games out there, Doom 2 has a special place in my teen memories :-) I'd put Duke Nukem 3D on a par with Doom 2 as its range of weaponry and game dynamics was legendary.

Lands of Lore if only pc and console games are allowed; If not, then The Castle from the MSX.

Best RPG: Planescape Torment
Best overall: Dungeon Keeper ( If you haven't played it I can't stress enough that you should!)
Best FPS: Crysis, no wait thats the WORST FPS made, I'd say Systeshock 2
Best pure RTS: I love Age of Empires 2

i dunno i try to like it, but sometimes i just can't. it already starts out bad at the beginning: no tutorial and not even a bloody manual, so i had no clue which skills and stats to choose. so you guess "well as soon as i figure things out i start over" yeah sure only you can't because of DRM: one activation only. and you can't even save and reload.
well at least it's free (unless you want all that cool premium stuff).

And there is no option to save and load, which kind of sucks.
