Beats Of Rage meanwhile has turned into an engine for a number of open games and ports. Some nice looking goodies there.

Whaaat? But we 've regularly discussed this on gog! This is the infamous game that had been worked upon for 7 years straight! The one sega allowed the amateur programmers to make and distribute, and forced them to kill it after a month of full, free release!

This is a professional level of work! This game is a masterpiece!!

I'm talking about the comic book series / TV series.
The game will soon be in a desert, near the copies of E.T.
If you want to play good Sonic games, you'll have more chances looking for fan-made games, than anything released by Sega.

Talking about this, anyone played Freedom Planet? It's good?

Yes, I'm playing through it currently, and it is quite good. Very much in the vein of the Sonic series, with lots of charm and fast action. I'm struggling a bit with a boss battle, but still recommend the game highly to folks who like the genre. And it's a good game for kids too, without being cloying or talking down to them.

One word: FINALLY.

I still feel the pain to see Sega games on other companies systems, even though the struggle wasn't historically as heavy between companies as fans believed, like the missed partnership between Sega and Sony, the end of struggle between Sega and NEC to conceive the Dreamcast or Sega releases on SNK systems years before the official end of Sega console systems days.

I hope that Sega will release and rerelease full games on PC, and not only F2P games. And obviously not only on Steam.
Maybe the Valkyria Chronicles case will have nice consequences.
But I can dream. Maybe I should have stopped dreaming since 2001, though.
