Navagon: Kinda cool, but really not sure how well that would work in practice. Does seem like it could lead to good things though. Even if that doesn't happen directly.
If you're single or have a partner who doesn't want to use the TV at the same time as you, then it's kinda pointless... If however you have only one TV or you don't have your own hardware, then streaming becomes more of an option... Rich at RTU gave his opinions on the streaming aspect, although i think it was with the Wii-U.
bad idea moving strictly mobile and pc... They think sales are all on mobile ? like the pc ports of there games do alright but not justice at all. :/

If they think re releasing old emulator versions of their old games will do great they need to think again.

Are they basing the number of pc and mobile from japan alone of the north american market as well? cause piracy on android is pretty damn high and apple not sure but its got the jail break shit sided with it which is not great for sega.
Such a shame Sega fell from grace so hard. I grew up with the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and Sonic the Hedgehog was my first game. It's kind of a shock to see that they're backing out of the console space since a majority of their sales come from that market. Or maybe they see the rising numbers from PC and mobile sales?

Also I saw the trailer for Sonic Runners and I realized we'll never ever get a true successor to the original Sonic games.

RIP Sega of the 90's
Topic title gets me a sense of deja vu with there exit from the last console Dreamcast. I had already mourned them way back then. Sega is more than a former shadow of itself for a long long time. At this point my only wish is a better company to buy them out and maybe just maybe go do things right with their awesome catalog of IP games and not cater to the mobile and free to play with micro transactions.
