Time for another giveaway themed around my Linux Wine wrappers, as usual including some Linux games as well to support official Linux releases :)

Risen series for Linux

Check out my GOGmix for more of my Linux Wine wrappers: adamhm's Linux Wine wrappers - please upvote it if you like it, to increase its visibility :) And take a look at the news/FAQ/discussion thread: Adamhm's Linux Wine Wrappers - News, FAQ & Discussion

I'd also like to encourage anyone who's at all interested in Linux to take a look at the beginner's guide I wrote & perhaps give Linux a try: The "Try Linux" Repost/Rewrite (a "beginner's guide")

Anyway, the prizes this time are GOG keys for:

> Risen
> Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition
> Risen 3: Titan Lords - Complete Edition
> Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
> Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition

To enter, simply post here listing what you're entering for in order of preference. Using/trying Linux is encouraged but not a requirement for entering the giveaway.

The giveaway will run until Wednesday 4th April at 19:00 UTC. Due to problems with downrepping in previous giveaways, the winners will *not* be publicly revealed unless they decide to do so themselves. Also make sure that your chat settings are correct; if they are not set to allow conversations with all other users then I will be unable to send the key if you win anything, so your entry will not be counted. GOG changed these settings for all users some time ago and many have still not changed them back yet!

Rules:
- No rep requirement but I reserve the right to disqualify entries at my discretion.
- If your chat settings will not allow me to contact you then your entry will be disqualified.
- Winners will be selected randomly after the giveaway ends.
- Each winner will receive one prize - whichever of the remaining prizes is their most preferred.
- Please only enter for games that you don't already have.
- Please only enter for games that your system can run.
- Please only enter for games that you're interested in, intend to play & won't just let rot in a backlog.
- Keys are for your own use only/not to be traded (except for leftovers/duplicates from multi-game keys which may be re-gifted but not traded)
- Anything not redeemed within one week after being awarded may be given to another entrant or reused for a future giveaway.
Hnnnnnng:) In for Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition I mean thanks for another giveaway

Btw to talk a bit philosophically, I wonder sometimes if you are fighting the right fight promoting Linux etc. I don't know if Linux is just a way around the problem but not the solution everyone wants. What I really want is to force Microsoft, with laws obviously, to do the right thing with Windows, but that's a totally different story. Do you think there will be efforts to turn Windows into a walled garden in the future, where we will only be able to install what Microsoft approves and everybody will have to pay Microsoft to sell software for Windows?
Thanks for all these Giveaways that you do to promote Linux.

I'm in. This would be my preference order:

> Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition
> Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
> Risen 3: Titan Lords - Complete Edition
> Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition

Thanks for everything you do for Linux!

Not In.
But kudos to you for your effort in promoting Linux and holding these GAs.
Thank you, adamhm, for doing the wrappers and encouraging gamers to try Linux. It was a similar giveaway and the helpful info you and the GOG Linux community provided which convinced the wife and I to switch a little over a year ago. It may be slow, gamer by gamer, but you do make a difference. :)

I'm in for: Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition

I'll definitely check out your wrapper for Risen. Thanks!
Thank you for your continued Linux support!. :)

I would like to be in for:

> Risen
> Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition
> Risen 3: Titan Lords - Complete Edition
Nice giveaway (almost all games that I've been wanting for a little while now :P)! +1 If possible, I would like to be in for: Risen, Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition, Risen 3: Titan Lords - Complete Edition and Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition (in that order please :P).

Now, I only recently got a computer that can actually run pc games well, so I'm still relatively new to the whole computer gaming scene (and I've been super busy with school lately too :S). I see a lot of people, especially on these forums that support linux and praise it a lot (like you :P). I know it's a different operating system that can replace windows (and maybe mac? I don't know, I can't affoard a mac anyways! :P), but what makes Linux so awesome and a must have? Like what reasons are there to use it over windows? Anyways, thanks again! :D
Not in, but thanks for the great giveaway Adamhm !
Wow, great info for crpgs fans in general and for me in particular ;)
Thanks a lot for the wrappers!

As I still need to fight the whole Gothic series, not in for the giveaway, but thanks for your generosity and good luck to everyone!
I would LOOOOOVE > Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition please (LONG time on top of my wishlist)

Ubuntu fan here (yea i\m noob :P ) , have dual boot.

I will check your tutorial , and thanks for wine support for Mafia 1 game, really like it.

A few years ago I had to migrate an old visual basic custom software of my cousin's store to ubuntu. It was hard for me with 0 knowledge of linux, but with help from people like you on the internet i did it. Since then I grow much fond for linux and his benefits. The obsolescence is not a word in linux dictionary. Thanks for keeping our choices open.

Im in for Pillars of Eternity. Thanks for the giveaway!
I'm in for Icewind Dale, +1
Nice GA - will have to pass, however. Got a severe case of backlogitis right now.
Thanks for the giveaway and Linux support.
Not in.
I am in for Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition
