truhlik: I love situation when steam adds new restrictions/rules/whatever and people still follow them like a flock:)
Happy company
Probably because these people understand why it's being done. Happy company
Bigs: And no one has mentioned the fact that Steam has now locked accounts into home regions? So that you can't even view other region stores by using the /cc=xx at the end of the link, requiring addresses and payment options from the one set region? (Luckily since I've had a grandfathered unlocked account and have purchased from US Steam before I have the option to buy from US or AU stores - switchable at checkout)
Think I've read you can simply log out and still use it (or use another browser that isn't logged in). That said, buying from a regional store that didn't match the region you were in hasn't been possible for a long time as far as I know, unless you're using a VPN. In which case, there really isn't an issue there to begin with since with the VPN you'd see the apropriate regional store.
