theslitherydeee: I hope they remaster the controls as well.

IanM: blasphemer, al-qaeda are after you now
I agree, kill them where they stand! :P

There would be no point changing the controls. Those old tank controls are perfect for keyboard use. That and... who the hell doesn't like tank controls!
The GameCube version was vastly superior to the original one. The surroundings were amazing and, most importantly, VOICE ACTING DIDN'T SUCK!

A LOT of people who grew up loving Resident Evil 4. PS2 Fans mostly who never owned a Gamecube.

THE VOICE ACTING DID NOT SUCKED!!!!

....for Chris' campaign. Jill's Campaign though Miles better voice acting delivery, its still a little cheesy because sometimes Jill, Barry, and Wesker say stupid things and they were not playing it for humor.

Chris' campaign is more better acted with the interactions between Chris and Rebecca being more better acted.

I could never get into RE because it was just too console oriented. A few years ago I picked up #2 and after three hours of tweeking just to get it to run I stopped playing after an hour because it just wasn't any fun on a PC be it because of graphics control or flow, I don't really know.

This could be promising.

But even resident evil 4 had tank controls. The only difference was the camera view. If they had any sense PS2 fans would complain about how bad their port was, to hell with the controls! :P

In saying that, this is resident evil not resident evil 4, and they don't like it... tough shit! haha.
The only resident evil game I really got into was the Dreamcast exclusive (at the time) Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Great atmosphere.
How are the others in comparison?

All of them are better since they don't have Steve.

The only RE with Steve that is good is the Wii lightgun game.
But there is Claire Redfield :-)

REMAKE is the pinnicle of the series in terms of being a Survival Horror. The Athmosphere is the scariest of all the series

Resident Evil 2 imo has the scariest monster antagonist in the form of William Birkin's monster forms.

Resident Evil 3 imo is more "Survival" Oriented than Scary imo, the levels are the biggest the series had so far with almost the whole of Raccoon City, and of course the Infamous Nemesis that stalks you and has a Rocket Launcher.

Resident Evil 0 is interesting in that you can control 2 characters, its sort of like RE5 Sheva system, but you have much more control of the character, for one you can tinker the AI while the game is paused and you can just let either Rebecca or Billy just use a pistol. It also has the inivation of ditching the chests, instead you can just leave your items on the floor to come back for them later.

Outbreak is underrated imo. The game has the most varied levels in the entire series. A Bar, than the underground labs in RE2, than the Hospital in RE3full of Leeches, a Hotel on Fire and full of Lickers, and a University. File 2 has a Zoo full of zombie animals including an Elephant and a Lion, a Subway full of giant posionous fleas, An Abandon Hospital in the outskirts of the City in the Wods, the famous Police Station in RE2, and an original Laboratory.

Silent Hill 1 on PC too Please! (I know its a different publisher but still)
Good to see Japanese publishers finally realising that PCs aren't just for porn, outside of Japan at least, and giving them some (platonic) love!
