Grargar: Can I get an answer to this question of mine?
I bought them as gifts (gifted myself morrowind) and as the buyer I got arena and daggerfall for free. they didn't show up until I redeemed morrowind. maybe the site was slow in loading or is this how it works?

do people who get the other games also get arena and daggerfall free???

Elmofongo: Can I ask how the fuck did you guys get two piece of steel armor this early in Morrowind?

Arrille sells them. Grab some loots, do some quests, steal shit, you'll have enough.

Yes, they do. Buy one of the Bethesda games and you'll also get Arena and Daggerfall as well. Thanks for the info.

Did not know he existed in Seyda Neen. Could have helped me find missing pieces of steel armor in my playthorugh as a Warrior-ish Nord.

Really? Dude's like the second guy you meet. He's basically Shops and Spells: The Tutorial.

Where did you sell all that silverware nicked from the Census Office then? :p

mistermumbles: I'm mulling over whether to get Morrowind on its own or all three. Hmmm.
avatar
JLH: I had the same issue. spend an extra 1 and change for games I know I wont play or what? so I just bought all three as a gift and redeemed only morrowind. now I have two games to gift. :)
Well, I just read up some more on both of these offshoots and they sound fairly unremarkable. An older PC Gamer crapshoot mentioned that Battlespire is particularly tough and merciless in killing the player, which was also mentioned in two of the user reviews - yeah, no thanks; I prefer to keep some of my hair and sanity - and Redguard seems to not run all that well, then and now. While I could argue that it's "only a buck and 38 cents more!", it'd also be wasted since I'm unlikely to bother playing either one. It's nice that GOG dredged them up from obscurity, but ultimately neither one sounds all that fun to play to me. *shrug*

Yeah, I'll be better off just playing the two freebies that come with the purchase. ;)

He said warrior-ish, not a proper class ;)

It is, oh it is. See the warning notice in one of the screenshots.
On the other hand, it's short. A few levels, each taking an hour or two to complete. You can ignore monsters, and you may be able to convince them not to attack you. But you should take care, as usual for games of that time period.

When I`m in my library and choose the store page of Daggerfall it takes me to the store page of Doom Ii. WTF?
As I already own Morrowind including the expansions on optical disk, I will wait for a a better sale.
I did buy the Quake + Doom I(I) bundle to welcome Bethseda to GOG.
It would be even better if this coincides with the first stable release of OpenMW,
Please make some Mac and Linux wrappers, now will you?

Bethesda: if you will help along OpenMW you can hit at least four birds with one stone:
(provided you are proficient enough in the throwing skill of course ;-) ):
1- Be able to release a MacOSX and Linux version in record time, since OpenMW can only be played using the files that get installed with a legal Morrowind install. OpenMW is almost ready for prime time.
2- Release your contributions to OpenMW as Open Source, thereby gaining some goodwill in the Open Source community and instantly get a lot of playtesters for those releases.
3- By working together with the OpenMW team, you will ensure compatibility with mods, making your games even more desirable.
4- Cross-platform release of a future true HD version will become much easier.

Please consider this...

anyone interested in a free battlespire and redguard? sadly they're on the same gift code so i don't know how to split them up.

gotta have more rep than me or have been a member longer than me. sorry.

OR link to another thread where you gifted a game to the community sometime in 2015 then you're in as well.

first reply to meet the criteria above gets them.

EDIT:
created a thread for this and they are already gone! congrats thepunishedsnake and grargar!
