Never Alone Arctic Collection, half climactic puzzle-platformer, half lesson on a different world, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com. Look out for the release at 67% off in the Big Fall Sale 24-hour Daily Deals!

Some games are good. Some games are important. Some are honest. Never Alone is all of those things.
Not long ago, the indigenous Alaskan community found themselves searching and searching for an investment that will both bring in more money to the community, and help promote their rather unfamiliar culture across the world. So, what better way to do that than by funding a video game?
Never Alone is as much a game as it is a historical piece on a culture most of us have heard of, but are hardly familiar with. There's love for the subject matter at every turn. The story, an old Iñupiaq folk tale, is narrated in the native language and supplemented with beautiful cutscenes that mimic the traditional ink art of the Alaskan people. As you play you'll unlock short videos, legitimately interesting cultural insights into the realities of growing up in an entirely different world than we're used to.

The Arctic Collection includes single player and local co-op, as well as a few extra hours of gameplay and a new folk tale with the Fox Tales DLC.

Life is treacherous and sudden in the snow covered wastelands of Alaska, and Never Alone Arctic Collection brings it out with love and respect, now DRM-free on GOG.com.
Ugh,... another impulse purchase... But it looks so cute...
Great addition! Wishlisted for now.

deonast: Same here. Instant buy for me. Only just noticed the form post guess I'd just assumed it was on the site already and I'd not noticed.

hmm i noticed your "-300 Club!" in your description and current rep is -103 does that mean you want to be down reped so you can get to that number or you were there and cruel people up reped you.

Seems like a hard club to stay in.

Klumpen0815: It means, that he lost more than 300 points thanks to downrep-trolls.
I'd be in club -500 or so then.
I've always wondered... how do people tell if they've lost or gained points due to down/up repping?

Is it just that you know approximately the number you were on, and it suddenly goes up or down by a large amount, or is there some sort of way of tracking it? I think I'd notice if mine went back down to 2 digits, but other than knowing my rep is 3 digits long, I'd never see the difference. (I'll have to look after I post this - not knowing will bother me now...)

GOG.com: Look out for the release available 67% off during the Big Fall Sale!
I thought this would be 67% off during the whole Big Fall Sale, but it's already back to full price for me. Thanks for messing up my sales purchase planning, GOG!

The stealth edit makes me think that the discount was applied in error.

I'm really irritated by this, as I was waiting to see today's bundles before buying it. I knew I wasn't crazy about what I saw.

Shady stuff, GOG. Glad I grabbed it on day one, but they really do owe us an explanation.

Good deal, thanks!
Ok, nevermind, given Konrad's later post I will simply wait and make sure to finish my purchase this time.

Soo, here's the somewhat unusual situation with this game's discount:

In short - the game will be discounted for a total of 72 hours during the Big Fall Sale - so as usual, the original end date listed was simply 72 hours after launch.

We couldn't go with the usual back-to-back discount in this particular case, so the game will be back on sale during the Fall Sale two more times in the 24h Daily Deals - for a total of 48 more hours.
I updated the newspost again to make sure that's even more clear now. :)

Okay, thanks, as long as there will be another opportunity to grab it at discount I'm satisfied. But yes, the original wording was not at all clear.

Konrad: snip
Alright, that's fine then that folks still have a chance. So it's basically turned into another game in the Fall sale, which is only discounted when its turn comes around. That makes sense, just not expected of a new release. :)

Yes I was wondering the same thing. I'd just assumed they were observing it so it was a guess but maybe there is another way of measuring it.
So, do I see it right, that the game will still be on promo for a few days?

You just notice it if you lose about 100 in a week or two while the number should be going up instead. Happened a few times and I've seen tinyE going from 4 digits to 3, to 4, to 3, etc... over and over and again, and some regular members that are definitely not scammers going from a few hundred positive into the negatives in a very short time.
It was so excessive for a while, that the whole system has lost its meaning and when it comes to trusting members, I rather look up older posts of them instead of looking at this number by now.
