I was like HE-don....

*Goes back into his corner, silently waiting for Hexen and Heretic.*

But a game running on GZDoom? Strange I haven't heard of it until now. Might check this out at some point.

EDIT:
Watching the trailer, I can immediately tell that the song in it was originally made for Unreal :D

I have heard a praise about this game´s level design, but I am sorry, I can´t, I just can´t get over it´s rudimentary graphics and animations, even when compared to other Doom mods out there.

Huh, I purchased this on Steam and I had the absolute opposite assessment, I think the art is generally very good, some absolutely stunning looking areas even, but the level design is some of the most frustrating I've ever encountered, mostly just confusing samey looking mazes and incredibly slow pacing.

I am not gonna contradict that, but that´s what I heard. If it would have little bit more detail in sprites/artwork, I would be sold, because the price is a steal.

Yep, you'll hear some of Alexander Brandon's tracks in it (a mix of personal and some that didn't make it in the games they were initially made for).

There's a few reviews of it out there you can check out:

Excellent. Now this is a real "new old school" game running on GZDoom engine. If only Heretic & Hexen were here to match...

Wow can't say 'this' hasn't been done to death....woohooo!

Some old has been whos tracks got rejected in 1996...cool.

Did you pay for those reviews?

Anyway I remain skeptical, certainly won't be risking my hard earned money on this one. I probably shouldn't be so negative but I'm sick of this sort of garbage, when we have so many good 'retro style' shooter.

Thanks.

I am currently playing a megawad for Doom, but once I'm done with that, I might play this.

Definitely. Some old whose tracks make up a half of the soundtrack in Unreal 1 for example...cool.
It is generally a good idea to check your facts before talking shit.

If I had paid for reviews you would've heard of Hedon a long time ago. Back when retro-style shooters were still cool I suppose :^)
