Not as good as RDR but as the op said, it's the closest thing if you only have a PC.

No... that would be "goon". Gun in English is pronouced the same as 跟 "gen" and means "With"

Was wondering myself if it's basically the same kind of game, only with a more vivid colour palette. RDR was entertaining enough, though not something I'm likely to play twice.

I only had a PC for years too until a couple months ago. Then I got a PS3 for approx $50 USD and RDR for $5.
I can't think of any upgrade to a console for 50 bucks that would let you do all a PC can do, but a last gen console for around $50 bucks added to a gaming PC opens the door to a lot of exclusive titles.

Great game, but not at that price.

Also, from what I've read it is still possible for Germany gog members to buy this game via VPN? The only thing more absurd than censoring these games is the fact that it is so easily circumvented. However, just in case our German (and and any other) or our friends cannot buy the game, are we able to gift it to them?

Well they mentioned this week as the locking week and after the announcement it was foreseeable that GUN would also end up behind the curtain....

But GOG would have to release some really neat games to achieve that....guess i should visit Denmark during the next big sale then :P

I really hate GodOldGeolock at the moment. This is one of the games I most anticipated here on GOG, and now I can't buy it.
I'm not a minor, I'm allowed to buy it in germany, but GOG doesn't let me. Thank you for nothing!

Yes, games can be gifted and can be redeemed in locked regions without any restrictions

It is indeed a great game (amazing for me, since I love wild west theme). Already played it twice or more. Maybe I'll get it on a promo, because that price hurts.

Indeed, the pronunciation is more akin to "goon", but the pinyin writing is gun. Which is why I hate pinyin with a passion, the writing and the pronunciation don't match at all.
