The weirdest strategy ever in a GOG release. "We´ll see how it performs?" the bad reviews are going to damage the sales and we will end up with an incomplete version. Also the info was not clear enough about what the game contained from the beggining. Bad, very bad, dissapointed.
Also probabbly the full saga will be even more expensive here than in the rest of stores if finally they are released in full.
And how are going to be released? individual titles like the originals? one of the most interesting features was the games bundled in one game, unified. What a mess

Would pick this up, but I think I’ll wait for a deep discount or the complete package to release. Don’t want to support partial product with the uncertainty of the rest ever coming. Thankfully I have the originals here to keep me busy in the meantime.

Why only the first game? What is the motivation to buy here when only the first game is available at half the price of the whole package on Steam? Why are developers constantly shafting us?

GoG, WTF are you doing? Don't even bother to release this partial crap when every other store this game includes all 4 games with the same name. You would have to be completely retarded to buy this. And YES I purposely used the word RETARDED as it is absolutely the best word to describe this situation. GoG pull this shit off your store now. This will ultimately screw over any suckers who fall for this scam because it's a self fulfilling non seller that will never see the rest released here. I was going to buy it until i saw the reviews & only releasing one part of the remastered games, think i'll just get the originals.

I was surprised to see gamigo publishing/developing this game because they have a bad reputation managing nearly dead MMO's and... they didn't disappoint because I did see the full game at 19,79 euros yesterday, so I would say changing suddenly 3/4 of contents just after realeasing your game is a scam and/or cupidity not amateurism or an error.

Keeping the same name as the full version is definitely a scam that means legal trouble for gamigo and GOG.

I don't know why GOG accepted this and didn't react quicker. They should write less articles of how cool they are and manage their store in stricter ways.

Kinda hilarious somehow; i mean what to expect from this "performance"? it can not be good, i am afraid.

However... the full version is priced at 25 CHF for me, not below 10 CHF, so they at least was not charging the full price for. I can not say how much has been "cut" and if the (part of the game) game released here is "complete". I do need the judgement from someone knowing this game. Perhaps the first game is worth the price but this "labor-rat-testing-lab" is with a high chance not leading to shiny results.

Lets "make a deal", the American way: The publisher is giving GOG THIS game for free as a giveaway, yes this first-part will be free for all GOGers. Now, if those GOGers want the full version they have to pay for the full package!

What is currently being done is not marketing... it is rather "showing pity" and there are not many people enjoying it.

They can still say: Almost no one was downloading the "demo", so we are not going to release the full version, that is up to them because it was free. If it does perform sufficiently well as a demo, most likely the full version may have some adequate sales. I just do not think "the current method" is bearing any fruits and it can not mirror a realistic situation.

I hope Gamigo is aware that sales will be well behind whatever target they expect to hit when releasing only a fourth of the complete package.

If they do, fine, carry on... but if they don't, what reasoning are they going to apply here without acknowledging the fact, that the package didn't move as many copies because they themselves decided to just include the first one and deliberately withhold the other 3 games for whatever reason?


I'm fairly certain that legally at least it's safe and sound, because it clearly states that

FATE: Reawakened currently contains only the enhanced first game in the series.

on the store page/in the fine print.

Are the remasters of Undiscovered Realms, The Traitor Soul & The Cursed King not included for the time being, because they are the most affected/marred by the technical issues I've heard there are aplenty with the Reawakened versions, possibly maybe?
