Epic Pinball: The Complete Collection is now available exclusively and DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount until December 7, 2PM UTC. Buy it together with the Jazz Jackrabbit series and get 25% off instead.
Life was so simple back in the 90's. All you needed to have fun was some time at the arcade, a sweet soundtrack, and balls of steel! Epic Pinball contains all three and it's now back to challenge your reflexes in 12+1 thematically diverse tables, each with up to 4 flippers that will test your virtual tilting skills to the limit.

If you're looking for an extra dose of platforming and pinball goodness, check out our Special Sale - but be quick, it ends December 1st, 11PM UTC!
Does the Android table come with the original(shareware version) music or the "new" music?

God how i loved this game when i was in college!
Now I'm happy. Been waiting to play this and Jazz again for decades, literally. Good old games indeed. :)
Happy having a legit copy of Epic Pinball now.

Love the music :D

wolfsite: Double post, sorry got lag for some reason

I think there are laws in some countries regarding that.

tinyE: Insert your own Roy Moore joke here.
It's okay if you get the rabbit's mother's permission first. (spoiler: Jazz didn't...the second game starts out in the castle dungeon :P)

Sorry, too tempting to resist.

darktjm: That said, thank you all for answering my question for me (how does this compare to Fantasies/Illusions on the Amiga) before I even looked. I guess I'll make it a low-priority wishlist item.

timppu: Epic Pinball is not a bad pinball game at all, but the tables on e.g. those Fantasies/Illusions, let alone Pro Pinball, games tend to be more "diverse". Epic Pinball tables are somewhat simpler. Technically Epic Pinball is pretty good too, smooth scrolling and Amiga-like tracker (MOD) music.
It's all matter of opinion, of course, but are you really saying that Illusions/Fantasies tables are more varied? More varied than Super Android, Enigma, Pot of Gold or Magic? Every table in Epic Pinball has its own rules and achievements, and even different scale in the score. I still love Fantasies for how awesome it looks, but...

I meant to say the individual tables in Epic Pinball are simpler than those on e.g. Fantasies or Pro Pinball games. Not really commenting on the amount of tables, or how different from each other they are.

Simpler or less varied?

Enigma beats both concepts anyway.

Thanks for the clarification. I went ahead and got it anyway due to the pinball sale (thinking I'd get 25% off, but I still ended up with 10% off), and played a few boards. I agree with your assessment, mostly. I do think the sounds deserve special mention, though. The music in Epic Pinball doesn't feel as thematic, or dynamic with respect to what's happening, and the sound effects are lackluster.

I am not big on complex rules for achievements; I just want to have fun, and I like a lot of skill shots that can actually be accomplished by a (decrepit old) human. I also respect 21C for making boards that are not only varied, but also feel "real" - a lot of computer pinball games throw crap at you that you'd never see in a real game. I think Enigma is a perfect example of this (not that it's impossible, just that it's not likely). In fact, real games that make you play minigames on the scoreboard annoy me. So, yes, I think the horror games alone (Dreams' Nightmare and Fantasies' Stones & Bones) easily outclass any of the games in Epic Pinball, even though the dosbox versions aren't as smooth as I'd like, given how well it ran on a <8MHz 68k Amiga 500. It's not just that they are prettier and have better sounds, it's also that they are more fun to play (for me).
Also insta-purchased. Good stuff this week!
Doe anyone know if we'll see Extreme Pinball on GOG?

seppelfred: My favourite pinball game was Psycho Pinball. But that's from Codemasters, right?
If I remember, that was a Sega Genesis / MegaDrive release. If it was released for the PC that would be interesting.

It comes with the "new" music, since the original (Shareware version) uses an older ProTracker Studio module which makes it incompatible with the one used in the game.

Although, with the know how and some time, it's very possible to extract the original version into s3m and then convert it to the new PSM module.

Yes, it was also released to the PC. There was some massive differences between that and the Genesis/Megadrive versions.

. Amiga Mod style music.
. Replaced the minigames with ones that only exist on the dot matrix screen.
. Different intro animation (Which is creepy)

Maybe someday GOG will get the rights to the 1995 Electronic Arts title Extreme Pinball. Of its 4 tables, Rock Fantasy is my favorite.

Pricing appears to still be an issue. I just tried to buy it off of someone's wishlist where it showed the $4.49/25% pricing. Add it to the cart and we're back to the $5.59/15% price.

Or whatever the exact numbers are.

The full 25% discount is when you buy Epic Pinball + the two Jazz games I believe. Otherwise it's 10%.

The discount is so low right now because these games have never been available any other digital store.
