Sir_Kill_A_Lot: In the meantime, while you are developing your conspiracy theories, us GOG users who bought the game can download the current version of Chuchel (2.0.0) AND ALSO rollback to the original one (1.0.0).
Don't feed the monkeys, and don't feed the trolls either. ;)

gamesfreak64: yes today we have too many easily offended and 'upset' people in real life you can recognise them, 99% is recognised with ease... online its a little harder, unless its on facebook where they share tons of videos and images all of themself, real pictures.... good thing is i dont have social media and i am very happy i dont have them.
Anyway i see lots times the word snowflakes used in may posts and in as many replies.. mainly twitter replies, dont have twitter will never get twitter but i enjoy reading all the nonsense , and all the easily hurt people (seems they compare them with snowflakes, dont know for sure but when i watched the people crying after a certain dude became pres. (wont mention the name to avoid the easily hurted) and it seems they call the 'snowflakes'))

Anyway when i see people crying for nothing like the forementioned election i see the word snowflakes .

Fate-is-one-edge: People on Internet are as easily offended, as they are fast to pass judgment about anything.
Both states are unjustified/unfounded, both to being cultivated and distracting.
And both are properties of immature/"shaken" personalities.
There are a bunch of psychological studies, overexaggerating my point, with the conclusion being nevertheless, that social media are the epitome of desocialization.
i know they are... my post was low rated ≖‿≖
Anyway i will edit it because i don't want too many molten snowflakes, they will freeze over and the digital roads might get slippery so i will edit the low rated post:
btw : i never downvote or downrate any post cause i believe in democracy and freedom of speech ≖‿≖

Since you bring up the subject of snow flakes...Aren't you being a bit snowflaky with your sensitivity to down votes? Happy to oblige.
I too believe in freedom of speech. That also implies freedom of reply. The only one censoring you is you.

Google first before calling anyone a snowflake

As you can read, the word snowflake is used a lot to indicate a certain 'group' .( 2010)

Generation Snowflake, or Snowflake Generation, is a neologistic term used to characterize the young adults of the 2010s as being more prone to taking offense and having less psychological resilience than previous generations, or as being too emotionally vulnerable to cope with views that challenge their own. The term is considered derogatory. It is one of several informal examples of usage of the word snowflake to refer to people.
movie from 1996: Fight Club

Unique or special snowflake

In 1996, Chuck Palahniuk's novel Fight Club was published containing the quote: "you are not special, you are not a beautiful and unique snowflake". The 1999 film adaptation of the novel also contains this line. Following Fight Club, the terminology "special snowflake" and "special snowflake syndrome" was applied to individuals who behaved as if they were very special. Such terminology refers to a person who believes their status as a unique individual means that they are destined for great success or deserve a special career with abundant praise and admiration.[5] According to Merriam-Webster, in the 2000s, snowflake referred "mostly to millennials who were allegedly too convinced of their own status as special and unique people to be able (or bothered) to handle the normal trials and travails of regular adult life".[4]

Snowflake as a slang term involves the derogatory usage of the word snowflake to refer to a person. Its meaning may include a person perceived by others to have an inflated sense of uniqueness or an unwarranted sense of entitlement, or to be over-emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions. Common usages include the terms special snowflake, Generation Snowflake, and snowflake as a politicized insult.

It's interesting you bring that up because while the term has been mostly used by the right side of the political spectrum against their perceived opponents recently, the origins of the term are just slightly different.

Considering you are the one that had trouble of others exercising their own free speech by criticizing your own use I'd say "inflated sense of uniqueness or an unwarranted sense of entitlement" pretty much hits the mark. Also, since you are also now trying weasel out of the discussion there is a pretty good match with "unable to deal with opposing opinions".

What's interesting here is, is that you tried quoting Wikipedia yourself without noticing the huge, flashing irony sign that created. On the other hand you were also the one trying to construct an infringement of free speech while also being the one implicitly trying to forbid other from using their free speech. So, interesting, but not really surprising.

aww, too touchy to even reply from now on! I'd say the term applied fits very well, even more after reading those definitions.

Sir_Kill_A_Lot: This is GOG, not some crappy iPhone store thingy: Here we can just revert to an older version of the game!
avatar
Ancient-Red-Dragon: That is a lot less true than the statement makes it sound.

GOG does not offer every version of every game. Rather, it only offers limited options for reversion. And even that limit amount of reversion requires Galaxy, which not everyone uses.

I'm sure GOG is not going to be leaving any version of Churchel that keeps the character as black available on the site. If they did, then SJWs would call GOG racist, and the GOG decision makers know that, so they will avoid it by simply removing all black versions of Churchel from the site.

And likewise for any other game that becomes censored in the future due to SJWs.
omg i must have missed out on the Chuchel game.... did i miss a lot reagrding the SJW thing ? ٩◔‿◔۶
I noticed he had a dark face , afteral it looks like a vegetable to me that is, so why the fuzz about dark colored veggies ◎[▪‿▪]◎ ???

Although the game revolves around a cherry and contains other fruits as well as animal-like creatures, Chuchel himself is something very different :-)
