Interesting pairing, so this game is similar to Underrail?

Underrail is, after all, the nectar of the gods.

Might have to look into this one.

Not really, just two good games for the price of one.
Ah just installed the game... after watching 40 minutes or so of GOG Twitch release stream, I was sold.
If anyone wants to be also sold, the stream is still there :D
Wow the game is still the number 1 seller. That good or people buying for the freebie ? :)

Yeah this looks like a hit for GOG, selling pretty well and getting several pages of reviews already. The reviews seem to suggest the game is very good, though I'm sure the freebie is helping.
It's a game that does dialogues right, and possibly also C&C (I've only gotten past the first day, though). The writing is top-notch, and the way the skill checks are presentes is really unique and fun.

The game receives extremely good notes:

It's definitely worth checking by cRPG fans.
The reviews make it look extremely fun. To the wishlist!

Should we expect any DLCs for this? Or is it too soon to know?

DLC as in the official soundtrack, a digital artbook, and the like has been confirmed already.
In terms of additional or expanding content - I don't really think it's necessary in Disco Elysium's case since it's already such a huge game with an average playthrough supposedly taking about 60 hours.

If you're still on the fence - yes, it's very much one of those wordy isometric cRPGs (not as wordy as Planescape Torment though) but that's just a front for what's essentially THE semi-open world detective sim where you totally can roleplay as, for example a pill-popping, ultraliberal but also fascist "Sorry/Hobo Cop", who makes some money on the side by collecting empty bottles and selling them off at the local kiosk. While trying to solve a case of course.
And who's frequently given the chance to off himself by OD'ing or "eating a gun", and thus finishing the game early, so to speak.

Only thing that's been irritating so far is the partial censoring of terms such as "faggot" while all the "fucks" and "cunts" are left untouched. A really puzzling decision, especially for such an already daring game that doesn't hold back on the controversial and polarizing subjects/topics.
