Killing in the name.

Ash of Gods: Redemption is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
When the world turns to ash, the sleeping gods shall return - the reapers will see to that. Three heroes rise to stop them, throwing themselves at an epic story, which blends turn-based RPG mechanics, a constantly evolving narrative, and CCG gameplay elements. Nobody is safe but one hero's sacrifice could mean the team's salvation. Take calculated risks and make clever use of your resources to outsmart the adaptive A.I. and win the war.

Get the Digital Deluxe Upgrade which contains the Art Collection and the original soundtrack.

NOTE: Multiplayer will become available later on.

Well, graphically it reminds A LOT about Banner Saga, they are almost identical. Which is good, since the drawing is stunning.

sadly (for this game) Banner Saga 3 is coming up so that gonna be my priority first and not sure if i need "two of a kind" in a short timeframe. Besides that game looks good and for people who have not started Banner Saga yet/aint waiting for Banner Saga 3 it might be a really good game

ChrisSZ: Hmmm, trying to open the game card brings me to https://www.gog.com/games?sort=popularity&page=1. The game appears to be regional-locked at my location (China), for whatever reason.
GOG confirmed that the game is region locked (GOG Support ticket #232272).
Sadly they are unable to disclose much detail of the decision.

I backed both this and BS3 on KS so having them both come out around the same time is more like a surprise mini-birthday for me. As someone who has several playthroughs of BS 1&2 I'll certainly be playing this and 3, expecting a fair bit of fun from each :)

Hah same here! :) It was quite a surprise when Stoic announced the release date. That way I might even get my physical rewards around my actual birthday...

BTW a new patch is out already:
"Based on the first feedback, the patch 1.16 has already been released while we contunue to work:

- Multiplayer has become available, we also plan a lot of improvements for it in the nearest updates
- the level of complexity of AI is reduced at harvest levels of 6-10
- Fixed problems with the interface on screens with resolutions of 1600x900 and 1600x1200
- Fixed a bug with the hang of the game on the quest with merchant Muels."

Active patch support to the GOG edition of the game, that's what a like to see :)

I hope your physical rewards to show up for your birthday that would be cool.

All in all I'm glad Stoic let me know about this game in time to back it (I follow them on KS so when they backed it I decied to give the project a look).

sofar i haven't got any horror , as long as i stay away from any mirror, these mirrors will remind me how old i am now compared to the time i got my first PC. .... and that would be major Horror ( which would be a nice addition to all the current majors that exist like major coverup , which is pretty bad but it's not bad language comopared to all other majors. :D
