Killing in the name.

Ash of Gods: Redemption is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
When the world turns to ash, the sleeping gods shall return - the reapers will see to that. Three heroes rise to stop them, throwing themselves at an epic story, which blends turn-based RPG mechanics, a constantly evolving narrative, and CCG gameplay elements. Nobody is safe but one hero's sacrifice could mean the team's salvation. Take calculated risks and make clever use of your resources to outsmart the adaptive A.I. and win the war.

Get the Digital Deluxe Upgrade which contains the Art Collection and the original soundtrack.

NOTE: Multiplayer will become available later on.

kbnrylaec: How did you wishlist it?
Those gamecards are just redirect me to a useless page.
Just enter the game page https://www.gog.com/game/ash_of_gods and press the "WISHLIST IT" button. Easy :D
Wow, I didn't expect much, but the trailers looks just incredible! It's definitely bannersaga style again, but looks also unique in some aspects. What an atmosphere! What a graphics! And nicely ported to Linux.

Wishlisted.

Lone_Scout: It seems that bannersaga-like is becoming a new genre...
I would be totally down with that. You have no idea how much I would like to have a bannersag-like sci-fi/horror game.

gamesfreak64: i had a bannersaga dejavu experience :D
I had a Banner Saga flashback. The horror, the Horror...
This looks interesting, but I'll wait for reviews. I don't have a problem with games being inspired by Banner Saga, since I liked those, as long as they put their own spin on the concept.

Not exactly a Banner Saga-like but Deep Sky Derelicts (gog.com/game/deep_sky_derelicts) might be close enough?

Definitely going to pick up AoG when I get home from work. By the ash of gods, does it look slick! Will have to go for the additional stuff as well, considering that Adam Skorupa and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz are responsible for the score.
If the gameplay and the mechanics hold up to the promises too this could very well be a strong contender for GOTY 2018.
Hmmm, trying to open the game card brings me to https://www.gog.com/games?sort=popularity&page=1. The game appears to be regional-locked at my location (China), for whatever reason.
Looks great, will watch an in-depth gameplay video to decide wether to get it or not.

Celton88: Looks similar in style to The Banner Saga. I'm interested in what the reviews will say.
That's an understatement -- It literally looks like Banner Saga with a different coat of paint. The art direction, gameplay design... even things such as the fonts or HUD look very similar. In fact, I thought this was a new game by the same developers. Kind of hard to believe that it's unrelated, aside from being obviously inspired by The Banner Saga.

Anyhow, looks quite good, as far as I can tell. Might pick it up in the future, if the reviews turn out positive.

After watching the three videos, I have to say - colour me interested!
Though, I will wait for some reviews, before I buy.
Huh? No Deluxe Edition? On Steam there is one.
It's a bit unfair not to offer the Deluxe Edition from the beginning on, because I think it's cheaper to buy the Deluxe Edition than buying the extra content in form of DLCs afterwards.
I keep waiting to see in which form and for which price the extra content will be released here.

Was really interested in this, but the lack of pre-release reviews is suspicious. This was on Keymailer, but apparently called backsies for some reason, which seems like the kind of thing you do when your game lacks content or goes downhill toward the end and you don't want customers to be informed about that before they've exceeded a certain refund window.
This game is a poster boy of why PC games should have demos by default. Looks good but at that price it's a bit risky, specially with all the good stuff on the line to come out in the coming months.
Wow, every game with amazing art design is coming out in the same season, or close to it ;D.

Wishlisted for now. Hope to get it soon!
