Inspired by a conversation on one of the many GOG Discords.

HunchBluntley: Side Meier's Pirates! - Live the Life might work, but the player's reflexes with the mouse would probably need to be quite good (though the lower difficulties should still be pretty easy regardless).
Pirates can actually be played entirely from the numeric keypad. I have to play one-handed occasionally when I'm stuck with needy dogs and cats that want their ears scratched and Pirates is always a go-to for me :) It's not very story-oriented, though...

You really can't wrong with the Lucasarts adventures. They've got that point-and-click interface and you can't die in them, so there's no major rush in any part.

Edit: Aw, hell, this is old :)

I would think most turn based games would work fine one handed. Anything that isn't a knee jerk reaction.

I have issues on occasion with my left hand although it still works.

Most MMO pvp stuff for example, I stay away from.

tinyE: I'm playing that right now. Date 92.

dtgreene: In all honesty, how is that game? Is it fun?

Also, is that game actually playable with one hand?
So did you play it yet? How did you like it?

Or if the game requires multiple simultaneous inputs, and the input is too far apart.

One other suggestion: Consider watching halfcoordinated on twotch, or watching his AGDQ runs. He has only one good hand, and therefore all the games he plays he plays one-handed; any game he can play might be a good choice. (Some control remapping might be needed in some cases.)

Sorry to disappoint you, but I have not.

Since they've been released since the thread was born, and just in case someone might actually do a forum search for this topic, and [url=https://www.gog.com/game/gorogoa]Gorogoa are both playable with mouse only.

Edit: those are supposed to be links for Shadowhand and Gorogoa, but the links are misbehaving.

Anno 1404 has lots of keyboard shortcuts that aren't needed, as everything is available via on-screen icons too.

I think the same goes for Crookz and Ghost Master. I could check if you like.

Adventures like Broken Sword and puzzlers like World of Goo.

Neighbors from Hell is mousey too.
Edited to add: Theme Hospital.

If Windows Store games are acceptable, Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO are really nice time wasters. Perhaps also Shiny the Firefly.

tinyE: It's not available here but I think, and someone may need to correct me on this, Freelancer can be played with one hand.
Nope.
Carmageddon Max Damage must be played with one hand because they did not implement Mouse Look :(
I noticed that the game Iconoclasts credits halfcoordinated, who is known for playing games one-handed (because he has no coordination in the other hand), so that game might be a good option. (You might, of course, have to use a non-default control scheme, but that shouldn't be a problem.)
