The developer Infamous Quest announced on Twitter that the sequel to Quest for Infamy is coming to GOG on May 28th. Is a great Point N' Click Adventure Game that works like a spiritual successor/parody to the famous Quest for Glory of Sierra. Is really recommended for every one.

That's good news, starting from the fact that he's all right and can work on it, considering...
But any news on QfI 2.0? The thread on their forums has no update in a year...

No new unfortunately, the last I know is that still on Beta, maybe that's why it hasn't arrived here yet, but I will try to ask him to see if I get an answer, probably yes, he's looks like a really nice guy!

The update 2.0 will be available for all the stores that sell the game, it's been on beta testing for quite some time and is close to be release soon.
Great, i have Quest for Infamy and Order of the Thorne so it´s good. Furthermore, last year i bought the book from Shaw Mills, the creator of Infamous Quest "The story of Sierra Online" in which explain the story of this company. Entertaining reading.

Awesome! Thanks for looking into it.

Dialysis treatment and what looks like multiple kidney transplants don't go along too well with game development I could imagine, so it's probably still going to take quite a while.

Other than him saying that it'll be done this year, no idea. Even less so since, after getting QfI ported to consoles, now he's working on Colossal Cave 3D Adventure (see Steve Alexander on the team page) when he is able to work. And with messages like https://twitter.com/IQ_Adventures/status/1519646508328620032 or https://twitter.com/IQ_Adventures/status/1546029562500358145 or https://twitter.com/IQ_Adventures/status/1539445564919713794 it's quite a wonder he does anything at all.
