-Nah, but my dad does. He can't sit on the toilet some days.

The one with "Chevy Chase"? If that´s so, since I watched them in spanish those kind of jokes sometimes get lost, and besides I might have been to young to understand those anyway.

InkPanther: I disagree. Blues usually react when somebody clearly crosses the line. I believe that things are good the way they are.

As a former forum mod myself, I strongly check the DISAGREE box. Mods seem like a good idea until they get their first taste of power, then whichever forum they belong to becomes a battle ground for ethical/political/bad humor crusades. And the first time a popular if controversial member is banned, the mods lose control of the crowd and eventually the numbers dwindle away and the whole thing becomes a ghost town with nothing but sycophants and band-wagoners left.

Besides, aside from occasional political arguments that get ugly, this forum seems to self-manage itself pretty well.

Just say NO to mods.

They made you wear cardigans and paint happy little trees?! Jesus Christ, that IS harsh!

They also made me change my shoes whenever I came in.

The horror...
Well to be fair, I only get angry - or to be fair to those with balls, "bitchy", when someone is being a real dickhead :-p But then I am a mother and as we all know, mothers can be really touchy at times - yanno hormones and stuff. But moderating mothers is like herding cats - not advisable on the best of days or phases of certain months. In the meanwhile, MAHAYO y'all!

Commander Pussy Shepard is going to be my name in my next Mass Effect game.
Nah. If I want to discuss the biggest badonk someone has seen in a game, I'd like to be able to discuss it. The Blues actually do their job quite well.

This forum is actually calmer than Neogaf, dA, and GameFAQs.

And the secret Fursona, too.

Niggles: I do wish at times there *was* some form of moderation - i know others feel this way - people saying "I got X game at X store" especially in a GOG release thread - this is not right and one of the things i DO feel should be clamped down on.
Depends on whether you see GOG as a PC Games store or as a community for gamers. If you think of GOG as a store only, then yes, discussion of other stores should be discouraged, even though criticism is a good thing. If on the other hand you think of GOG as a community for gamers, then such comments shouldn't be discouraged.

Hm. Opening a thread that is sure to raise red flags and then not participating in the discussion. I think the OP was successfully trolling. :-)

The title might even be a hint: mod-irate (suggest mods and some people are sure to get irate) ;-)

But on topic (even if trollingly started):
We don't need no
Moderation
We don't need no

Lol gog must be the most friendly/trollfree/not-getting-insulted-for-not-knowing-something/helpful forum that I know. Then again it's the only online forum where I post :p
