Ok, I think this qualifies as amusing and inspiring, at least when I though this combination the picture imediatly came to mind.
2000 days... Respect. I wish I had found this place back in 2009.

I'm in. Here's some more Star Wars themed inspiration/amusement. :)

Congratulations and thank you for the giveaway!

I'm in with 2 short films. Each film uses black humor, which is I think a perfect tool to bring out different and often opposite emotions within us. Both films are set in depressing environments but terrifying and amusing things happen to inspire us (in order to be against the tyranny of smartphones or to finally able to sing with everybody! :)

Wpegg! How nice to see you again~! ^__^ 2000 days, wow~!

"something that's amusing, something that's inspiring, something that's terrifying, and something that's depressing."

My great grandma should fit the bill nicely~! XD

Isabelle was a feisty woman, with eyes that glowed with mirth and a contagious love for life. She was also a randy old gal with a fine-tuned sense of humor, and "naughty" (but not "dirty") seemed to always be the order of the day~

Not long after I got married, Grandma gave me a book. Oh yes, you guessed it. That kind of book! "Now honey be sure to try what's on page 54, it really works!"

Every time I talked to her on the phone, she reminded me. "Did you try it yet? It's really great!"

Me, internally: Nooooooooooooooo~!

Mahahaha XD Oh my gosh, she was such a hoot~! She used to tell my dad that she really needed a bed warmer... Preferably blond and 24. *snicker*

Isabelle lived to a ripe old age of 93, dying of cancer not long after meeting her first great-great grandchild. I still miss her, but whenever the topic comes up, we all have fun tales to tell about our grandma, who never met anyone that she didn't like.

PS - Yes, I still remember what was on page 54, and no, I won't tell you what it said. ;D
Amusing:
* The verb amuse comes from the Old French amuser, which originally meant to cause one to stare stupidly

Inspiring:
* The verb inspire comes from the Latin inspirare, which originally meant to breathe into

Terrifying:
* The verb terrify comes from the Latin terrificare, which originally meant to cause to tremble

Depressing:
* The verb depress comes from the Latin depressare, which originally meant to press down or crush
