A visual novel with a dash of stat raising, you will follow a story and make choices leading to one of the many good and bad endings of the game – Leap of Love is now available on GOG with a -30% discount that lasts until October 26th, 4 PM UTC, and alongside its Dark Princesses DLC and Safe Edition.

You play as Kaheroux, a frog turned prince by a shady wizard. The catch of that spell is that he needs to find and marry a princess within a month or go back to being a frog. Luckily for Kaheroux the local king has three daughters and a lovely wife.

A NSFW game with GOG Galaxy achievements? That is very unusual.

Why doesn't the safe version get a DLC though?

Oh, I'd love to play some of them but the only problem to me is that pretty much all of them are only in English. My English is not that bad but it's still a foreign language to me. It takes a lot of concentration to read and really understand what's going on. Maybe it also has something to do with my disabilities, who knows.
But I totally believe you when you're saying that there's a lot of really good and deep VNs out there! :)

Pretty sure that your English would be good enough to enjoy them but I also do understand when people prefer to not read that much in a foreign language ... unfortunately it will be pretty unlikely that this particular VN will ever receive a translation since it is basically a work of one person.

Yeah, it's the large amount of text that makes it a bit exhausting. Doom in English was never a problem but if you have games that are basically virtual books, that's just too much for my short concentration span :(

But well, there are so many games out there, there's always something for every one of us!

I don't get the point of a censored version of a game. Imagining Doom without blood is weird.

Well, I don't understand why some people do have a problem with lewd scenes but that apparently is the case. So since this game is one of the many in which those scenes are not necessary to be able to enjoy the game the devs/publishers thought that they could use this to attract those that want those lewd scenes with the uncensored release and those that have problem with them with the censored version. There definitely IS a market for censored games that usually have romance and sex in it (omitting the sex part in the censored version) but there is no market for violent games that got the violence removed (since the violence is mostly the main attraction in games like Doom). SImply ask yourself the question if you would ever chose a censored version of either games if you had the chance. There are people who would prefer a censored version of a naught dating sim (since they still have the dating sim part).

My point is that if something is tacked on to the point that censoring it doesn't alter anything to the game I'm not sure why it was included in the first place. No one buys these types of games for no erotic content.
