No Italian?
What's this? Wasteland 2 has a price now on the front page!

Ah, missed the Pre-order thread

But it's good to see the progress from coming soon to pre-order.

Daliz: One thing though.. Will they not patch the DRM-free disc version at all? The update sounded like the choice is Steam-disc or a day-1 version without further patches.
Nothing definite to say there yet but we'll investigate our options.

sorrowofwind: I'll just wait for gog wl2 then since the retail boxes are bound with steam, but seeing the line "The boxed copy shipped to you will come with the Steam version," I'm concerned about physical copies for Tide of Numerana backers.

Would the physical copies also require a separate call, day 1 disc that is sent at a later date to be steam-free like wl2 does?

Would international buyers require to pay another extra shipping fee?
We don't know yet for Torment physical copies. Each production has its own logics and what forced our hand for WL2 (the long gap between gold master and release) may not be true for TTON. We just can't definitely say either way.

We're not asking any extra shipping for the DRM-free copies.

WL2 probably will not (officially) support Italian on launch, we need to polish it up more and in the current timeline it doesn't look to be ready before release.
Some people are actually taking the Red Boots DLC on the main menu seriously... which is weird to say the least.
Also there's no GOG link to the combat trailer video, only to the steam page.
Have been following the progression of Wasteland 2 for some time now.

Looks great!

I'd certainly like to purchase a physical copy of this game, if available.
if i purchase this from gog .....

- when/what time can i start downloading?
- is there a preload?

The release date is set to September 19, which is in 3 days. I guess you'll be able to download the game some time this Friday.

30gb (probably about 20gb in reality) is a big lump to download for me, and still expect to play on the 19th.
thats why i asked the specific time of day and if theres a preload.

im guessing there isnt a preload?

I don't believe GOG offers such a mechanism yet.
3 days till my social life is completely over for the next 3 months or so.

They did it for Witcher 2 but I don't think they ever did it for another game.

Hooray, I see my name twice, additional 3D modelling and backer :D
Is it here yet? Now? Now? Now?

Oh man oh man oh man...

I haven't been this excited about a game since, well since ever.

I'm only going to be as much excited when Torment is nearing release.

Fuckers, they neglected my name in the backers section! :shakesfist

Oh well. I just finished reading the manual and the game looks incredibly enticing: can't wait for Friday.
