tfishell: Or we could be wrong and GOG is just hyping up their new forum with even fewer features; it's like something you'd see out of the 70s/80s - everyone has to communicate with binary on the new forum.
Nah, I think we'll be 01110011 01100001 01100110 01100101 00100000 01100110 01101111 01110010 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01110100 01101001 01101101 01100101 00100000 01100010 01100101 01101001 01101110 01100111 00101110 00100000 01000011 01110101 01110010 01110011 01100101 01110011 00100001
Maybe we'll get games like Oubliette and even older games that predate the home computer?

It's left once you get out of town, not right. Your going to get everyone lost with directions like that.
Just got through watching the whole interview with the GOG booth guy, and he did a really good job of putting things out there in a laid back, friendly, real sort of way.

Grargar: That wishlist is not for SSI's NAM game. That one has nothing to do with SSI and was originally published by GT Interactive and now owned by Tommo and published under the Retroism label (even Wikipedia gets it wrong). SSI's NAM is this one, released in 1986 and not in 1998.
Thanks. It's been fixed.
I have the D&D Forgotten Realms Silver Archive. But I would buy them again here. You hear that GoG? You hear that Ubi? Get to work on that licensing agreement! We will throw moneys at you.

Typically, I'd be inclined to make some negative comment about the odds of Ubisoft doing that, but at the moment I'm a bit more optimistic. Being able to get ahold of Albion, Archimedean Dynasty and Anno 1602 apparently had a positive effect.

Thanks to an old compilation CD, I actually own most of the Gold Box games. However, it would be HUGE to see them re-released properly after all this time.
I enjoyed this video. The beer and the beard made this 10x more awesome. Also glad to see a time frame for the next significant Galaxy patch. Can't wait for that.
Pretty much
So, who was the blue then? Don't recall the face, though not many blues post pictures of themselves.
Since i just finished all the D&D Goldbox games- running them myself in Dosbox and tracking down maps and hintbooks...of course GOG will now release them with everything all done and in one place. That's just how things work.

But if it's SSI related RPG's then it could just as easily be the Phantasie series or even the 2 non D&D Goldbox games- Buck Rogers, which i'd prefer as i don't own those two.

I'm not getting my hopes up for the old D&D games, but that would indeed be HUGE. I just hope that if they get them at some point, it won't stop there, with the most popular and well known Gold Box classics. What I really really want are the SSI games that came after it (Unlimited Adventures, EOB, Darksun, Ravenloft series, Al-Qadim).
