My response to a series of posts by Adrian Chmielarz (founder of People Can Fly)

He's siding with Frictional Games in their stance against traditional challenges and gameplay, believing that they're counter to immersion and emotional effectiveness. He has some interesting points (after the first article, which is pretty much garbage), but I think his stance is too absolute, and fails to recognize the emotional effect that challenge itself can have on the player.

I'm going to read it right now. ;)

Thanks for all your hard work and I wish you a Happy New Year, jefequeso! :)

EDIT: Also, good luck with the job hunting (same situation in my case) and (very early) congratulations for your future marriage. :D

So, for some reason I can't seem to post links. So you'll have to get to my blog by one of the links above. It will be difficult.

Anyway, my review of Gemini Rue is up, and the blog has a brand new design!

I was trying to fix this for you, but I get the same issue. No problem posting other links, like Wikipedia or Youtube, however.

Maybe your blog is being stopped by the new GOG anti-spam measures?

Bah! My blog is not spam!

If it continues I'll have to contact them about it, I guess.
