So I have a "friend" (we're going to call him that for lack of a better term) that I'm trying to get out of my life. He decided to buy me a game on GOG and send me the account information. But as he knows, I do not currently have a PC which can play games. He's trying to leverage me into spending money i'm saving on a computer through various means. I asked politely for them to refund the money and they're claiming that they cannot because a "download attempt has been made for the game." This is completely impossible. I have a crappy PC that I use on occasion at my job which I obviously do not play games on. Other than that I have a tablet I use for reading and such, that it all. It is impossible that I tried to download this game. They don't even say that the game was downloaded they say "an attempt was made." I'm posting this here as a public service to you all to show you what you're dealing with. These people will make every attempt to deny you any kind of refund regardless of what circumstances may arise for you. They do not care about their customers and I will be posting this same thing on every consumer report website I can. Please think twice before buying a game from "GOG." Thank you and have a nice day.
