We do get a bit of cold during winter, this year it snowed one day and the snow lasted about 3 hours. Right now it's near the 45C mark and it's 17:20

Goodness, just look at those glorious puzzly games!
I'd like Ancients of Oog, Freedom Fall, and Spectraball, but if you want to limit me to just one, Freedom Fall, please.
As for Israel, I don't have any personal memories, but as a Christian, I pray for the country daily (we consider them God's chosen people, after all). I hope this counts.
