Here's a great idea: they should make it play like a proper Might&Magic game.

I hope it is not an MMO. This series deserves to be revived, though. Maybe they dug up JVC? He's had a long time to think about how Might & Magic could be reinvented. Let's hope for the best.

Well, as I am still somehow a fan of the M&M RPG's I hope, it will be really M&M X, I^d be in for it of course. But I would not wonder, if they also would come up with the hook, that it has to be permanently online, because someone of there staff had the "vision" that this game should be an MMO ;)

I wouldn't be surprized, really not.

Hopefully it's NOT an MMO (because seriously, why do they not understand that that market is oversaturated?) and is a legitimate M&M style RPG with buckets of angry mobs and goofy taverns... and Acromage (of course).

I didn't think that the later M&M games were actually all that good. Two to five I liked; six to eight I played ought of a sense of obligation, because I'd decided to play the entire series for reasons I can't quite recall (I didn't like one; I stalled out in nine, but some day...). Still, we'll see what there is to see.

Does this mean that fan made Might and Magic X I have been keeping an eye on is screwed?
Either way please god be a party based RPG and not a goddamned MMO

Considering they're already developping Might and Magic Heroes Online, I don't find this likely (unless they actually think that having to manage two MMOs will give them more profits).

I was pretty sure it was going to be F2P (Ubisoft announced at one time almost all of their PC games were to be F2P). Has that changed?
