flammenbringer: Since Bolt Thrower aren't touring and will probably never release a new album, would anyone here know a band whose music feels exactly alike? Given, for most Death Metal sounds like Death Metal, I however have been unable to find a substitute.

Those I know and don't find them adequate. Guess I should have told before. Was hoping for a fresh perspective, but thanks anyhow. :)
How about some DOOOOM? High on Fire, Black Pyramid, Krownn...
How about some metal versions of non metal musics?

Just found this on Google.

Goddammit I knew there were subliminal messages on "So Far, So Good...So What!"

Hahaha!
Listening to the latest Babymetal album. It's even better than the first. It lacks some of the first album's weirdness but overall it's a better listen from start to finish, more consistent (some songs on the first album were recorded 4 years apart). Sumetal has become a truly great singer too. She is very talented, great voice.

didn't know they have a new album out. Glad that Amuse decided to move Babymetal out from under Sakura Gakuin, else the band would have been dissolved after them reaching 14-years old

Obviously the girls up front are the attraction but the backing band is really good. It's a quality operation all around.

It's kinda funny how Babymetal were forced to evolved over the years they gained attention and acceptance from outside of their initial intended pop-listening audience, including having to get a real band with real musicians to perform live and the girls to sing for real instead of lipsync. And they have met new expectations very well. They actually seem like a really good live act. I espcially like this performance from Sonisphere, which was their live debut in the west:

I think this live version actually sounds a lot better than the studio version too.

Ha, yeah, I first heard them when the Doki Doki Morning video came out and I thought, "Cute little girls doing metal, that's funny..." which is probably how most people first react, and then I moved along. When I came across them again not too long ago, I thought, "Wow, this is really good!"
