Not surprised at no new games, unless by chance we get some on the 4th but I really doubt it. Of course I'd love to be wrong.

bluethief: Do the Knights of old Republic games still miss the updates that the Steam version have?
avatar
LusoGamer: It was only KOTOR II, and yes, the GOG version was updated and is the same as Steam.
...
Oh that's cool.

I wouldn't be surprised. GOG managed to pull out some pretty *heavy* games as of late. Maybe even now they are in talks with Disney management to get more games.
There are still a few Star Wars games missing, even ignoring the Learning segment. Just taking a look at the wishlist:

- Episode I: The Phantom Menace
- Force Commander
- Battle for Naboo
- The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes
New release(s) in one week on the fourth of May?
I noticed that STAR WARS™: Rogue Squadron 3D ( https://www.gog.com/en/game/star_wars_rogue_squadron_3d ) is suspiciously omitted from the sale. Could it be a bug, result of other store offering it as a subscription bonus, or (I do not wish to rise hopes), could it be planned as a bonus here as well :)

The game is going to be part of May's Prime Gaming offerings, so it's possible that is going to be a GOG key.
Mostly unrelated: Eagerly waiting for the new (2-nd) season of
Andor
Think I rewatched ep. 11&12 ~ five times already... Good story, nice cast, almost perfect execution.
Official Trailer (1:30)
On a side note, the focus on the ISB machinery is much appreciated.

Although it's still recommended to install these mods for KOTOR II, wether Steam or GOG:

- Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM)

- KotOR 2 Community Patch

And to fix the widescreen:

- Widescreen UI Fix

- Improved Widescreen Experience

For KOTOR I, there's this recommended patch:

- KotOR 1 Community Patch
Thanks for the info. Glad to know that is updated.

Hope dies last. But I think last year there was nothing.

Force day is a sales opportunity on all platforms, not something GOG came up with.
I'd buy the LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga, but it saddens me a lot that they removed one of the hubs from the game, together with extras that today are exclusive to the LEGO Star Wars Episode I, II, III and LEGO Star Wars Episode IV, V, VI PS2/Xbox era individual games. :(

I don't think its such a great loss though, as everything else is there... still.
I might be nitpicking at this point.

Actually they removed all hubs from Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 and replaced them with a new one.
Also minikits and red bricks are different/missing.

The original games were improved significantly. It feels much more coherent. One or two levels were replaced, the originals can still be played as extra.

Especially LSW1 has major problems on modern computers, it can't handle gamepads with analog triggers. If you try to configure the buttons, they will constantly fire. The games only comes with 4:3 resolutions and if you use a gamepad with round stick movement, the characters will only walk when you run diagonal, becasue it was made for pads that have square stick movement.

Get the game, you won't regret it.

imo, not really anything since last year, other than the original version of Doom 3. But we'll probably get some AAA releases at least for the 15th anniversary this late summer, if not sooner.
No thanks.
I'm not going to buy anything Disney's until Luke's depiction in the sequels is fixed and I don't mean just some random retcon here and there in their cartoons/tv shows/ books/crap/whatever.

I'm not boycotting GOG but Disney instead, for the fifth year in a row and still sticking to it.

I find it odd that you remembered the original Doom 3, but not Skyrim or Quake Enhanced. Maybe I was more impressed than I should have been, but for some reason, I saw great potential in GOG ;)

Skyrim was absolutely a *heavy* game (along with the Mordor games and some others), but it was last year. I guess it depends on what one considers "as of late"; if you include last year, sure, we got heavy hitters.

We'll see what happens. :)
