Tomorrow is an important date in the Chinese calendar as the Lunar New Year starts on January 25th. It's the best time to settle old accounts and make bold plans for the future. GOG.COM is here to help you make your gaming plans with special gaming horoscopes and discounts during our special Lunar Sale.

Over 1000 great deals await you in the GOG.COM Store right now! Among them, you’ll find discounts reaching up to 90%. Also, check out some of the most popular titles on GOG.COM with special prices.

According to the Chinese calendar, we're about to begin the Year of the Rat. This little animal symbolizes intelligence, farsightedness, and vitality. Games like Disco Elysium (-20%), Age of Wonders: Planetfall (-33%), Hollow Knight (-50%), and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - GOTY Edition (-70%) will surely put those qualities to a challenging test.

That’s not all! New DRM-free releases like Of Orcs and Men (-80%), Styx: Master of Shadows (-80%), and Styx: Shards of Darkness (-60%) are arriving on GOG.COM too!

So, brace yourself and begin the Year of the Rat with games that will make it memorable!

f1e: But remember, it makes more sense to pay the full price for a game you are itching to play than to buy ten games you will never play at a great discount. Before checkout look at the total and consider if those money would be better spent on fewer but much more relevant games.
It's probably very good advice. First I followed the first part of the strategy (and bought what I would like to play – those email discounts are awesome!). Then I bought some titles just because I don't expect them to be in a better price anytime soon. Let's consider it some kind of compromise ;)

tfishell: Recommendations and suggestions for your consideration (not all the deals are especially good so watch out):
System Shock 2 (but discount's been better)

And I still hope that maybe the base drop in Square Enix prices (to Steam's base prices) could mean Squeenix will show fresh life here. :p
Don't forget the Thief series, bro! Some of the best games ever made, finally at a discount to rival Steam's! At less than a buck each, you'd be a chump to miss out on these gems!

I can put your mind at rest about Flatout 2, it's awesome!

Ravinius: Shovel Knight is still there for me in platformer games. Are you sure it wasn't moved down the list for you because you bought it?
Looks like they corrected the price and it is no longer $9.99. Hope you got it while it was cheap.
I was hoping for a similar sale like the last winter sale one .

i_hope_you_rot: I was hoping for a similar sale like the last winter sale one .
They've said here that Summer and Winter Sale events are usually the biggest ones. It's not even a month the last one ended so, to be honest, I didn't expect even this one. I think it's really nice opportunity for those who missed something before.

For now I used one of email discount codes and I really hope RWarehall is going to help us to find the best deals here.

It's up to date now except for this mornings early changes, many of which were suddenly reverted. So I'm giving GoG a little time to make up their minds...

InkPanther: The "Discover you Chinese Zodiac Sign" banner leads to an article in Polish. I suspect it could be written in Chinese and many folks in here wouldn't notice a difference. ;)
No because I'm one "many folks in here", that would never click on such crappy marketing links.
Astrology, as click bait for advertisements, no thanks.

I rarely buy anything in sales these days, I pretty much have all the old games, sold herer I actually want.

Apart from A few recent releases that cane to GOG much faster than I expected, like Greedfall, and Terminator: Resistance, but they haven't reached a low enough price for games I already own on Steam.

I will get them here, like I pretty much do with everything I own on Steam, but i Won't pay much more than £15 for a Offline installer version, which is far more important to me than being DRM free, but as GOG is the only store with offline installers, I get DRM free as a nice bonus anyway.

So I'm pretty much done wirth any stores sale in 5 minutes of checking, nothing for me on any store yet.

Back to my 5th Anniversary Witcher 3 playthrough, seeing as CDPR were kind enough to give me the 6 to 8 month time I will need.
Now as long as Sony doesn't rush Horizon Zero Dawn out on PC, I should be finished by Mid September.
