ne_zavarj: Do you think everyone start reading the thread with the first page ?
Did I say that? But anyone that does happen to read it (you know, like to see how it works or whatever) would see the list. So why bother posting the rules in the first post of the thread? FFS it wouldn't hurt to have the list right there with the rules.
Someone mentioned a really useful website before, steamrep.com.
You can type in the User ID and get the actual numerical ID, like on steamidfinder.com, but You also get easily accessible name history, user ID history etc. So if anybody questionable approaches for a trade, check his profile immediately if it isn't one of our known leaches.
The account that began as Anasto is apparently the main account of our little scammer:
http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561197987773302

More importantly, if You manage to get a screenshot of the chat with the scammer, You could report him there, following these guidelines.

Yeah scams and scammers are pretty easy to spot and doesnt take much knowledge, most are from eastern block countries where they appear to talk nonsense and appear to be arrogant and all are only interested in obtaining your ID,soon as someone wants that it is time to walk away,if it seems to good to be true then it obviously is.
Don't know if this helps.

You should add him to that site. It's worth noting for those not familiar with GOG's PM that the messages are in reverse order, i.e. if you do submit a report to that site you should mention the fact they go backwards.

Everyone who got scammed, report his ass to Steamrep.
You forgot sCambrey.
Remember to take screenshots of the chat, screenshots of the profile, and use Steamrep to get information
You can add TurtleDove and GundamStyle to the list. The former profile was used to scam me, and the second was an attempted scam the same day. I think both of these have been mentioned in the Ninja Giveaway thread too.
Add SuperAndroid to the list:

and DinoPower1 (Desura member name):

This, or one of these, scammer(s) tried to scam me recently with a copy of Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition, for my copy of Resonance Steam Key. It seemed fishy, but I figured see if they were legit or not. After I said "sure I'm interested, when would you like to trade." (to see if they had the game or not) they stopped talking to me entirely LMAO.
damn this guy has gone too far , we should also start reporting his steam profiles with the proof of his scams , they will get a trade ban effectively shutting him down, will report all his profile , with this thread link as proof.

reported , this is what i wrote , just click on the report violation on his fake profiles on steam
"the said person has multiple profiles and is scamming a lot of people with trades , he has been caught with proof here http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/known_scammers
his other profiles include http://steamcommunity.com/id/findmenow123/ , http://steamcommunity.com/id/Hoorahmate/ , http://steamcommunity.com/id/yestun/ please check these profiles for same ip and prevent him from scamming others, thank you"
