Sorry if this has already been posted in the main forum somewhere, but I thought I'd help out shaddim and get this some awareness.

There is new kickstarter campaign, War for the Overworld by Subterranean Games.

This seems to have the potential to become a proper Dungeon Keeper II sequel, which is missing for way too long :)
Good properties:unity engine based so instantly cross-platform (PC, Mac, Linux), a editor for broad modding capability will be included and tech demo is already available (https://wftogame.com/demo), looks really DK-like.
But, at the moment it seems that Subterranean Games considered Steam as primary distribution channel (FAQ https://subterraneangames.com/threads/frequently-asked-questions.662/) and has also given no definitive word on a non-DRM version. So, everybody who pledges this campaign, please request a DRM free solution on their comment page, it will be noticed! ;)
PS: here is the GOG game wishing list for "War For the Overworld"
