I've just taken my Budapest tour guide exam a few months ago, I literally needed to learn about how pretty it is :D
...
Ooh, congratulations! I can hire you as a private tour guide then? Planning to travel to Budapest this fall, wanted to go during summer but sometime around September will be more realistic.

lol sure! :D
And fall is better for a trip imo. It's not really nice to take a walk in this summer heat :(

flanner: what about picture of view from some Lithuanian window? ;)
Well, I moved to Denmark. So I can also give you a small Danish view from the window :P

"Then" is about a week ago. That was a wall of clouds coming from the sea.
"Now" is about 7 minutes ago. Nothing major.

From the window of a room that I currently reside in.

Great! Now I just need to figure out the details (details like how to actually get there), I'll keep you informed about my plans as they become more concrete. Looking forward to seeing Hungary for the very first time in my life.

Thank you for this kind offer, might very well take you up on that! Prague is near the very top of my travel list as well, but for this year's trip I am most likely going to stick around Budapest and its nearer surroundings.

Okies :D
OK, I took a quick photo of my area.
Quick, because my neighbourhood is pretty dangerous.
I hope I didn't make too much noises.

I don't know what is more funny, that pic, or the the fact that you actually posted, "I took a quick photo of my area" and didn't get arrested for perversion. :P

I doubt there's any working police stations here, anyway. :p
If there are, they have more important problems to deal with.

Wishbone: This is the view from my window, as of about 10 minutes ago.

Dessimu: First I view the picture and then tell myself "This guy must be living in Denmark!" Then I view you country and indeed you do! How nice! Somehow yellow bricks gave it all away. I got used to them a lot over the years.
Huh, I wasn't aware that yellow bricks were primarily a Danish thing. But yes, I do indeed live in Denmark ;-)

jamyskis: (By the way, if anyone is taking a picture using a smartphone, don't forget to strip the geotag properties out of the photo!)
Good point. Maybe this is relevant (on how to get rid of them easily on PCs and Mac):

I envy the view many of you have. Mine is meh, at best.
