Hahaha! It was more along the lines of "You're taking a picture? Of me, obviously, right? Of me? Take a picture of me!" :D

flanner: i concluded it by the dog. although pakistan has some small christian community but mostly rather not too safe place for dogs (97 % of muslims by wikipwedia)
I think you've been misinformed as to the level of dog hatred here :D. My neighbourhood itself has at least 3 other families that keep dogs (in fact, the people I share a wall with had 2 beautiful doberman that were not only house-dogs, but bed-dogs (My own dogs are mostly outdoor dogs with the occasional allowance into the kitchen when they're sick). And when I have puppies, there's usually huge demand from people who want them.

As long as they stay out of mosques where people pray, or don't dirty up your clothes like my dog in the picture would've with her muddy paws (which is why I have a separate set of praying pants :D), and are well-behaved in general, most people don't mind dogs, and in fact appreciate beautiful dogs.

nice! so... danish :D thanks!
This reminds me of The View From My Window that took place on The Dish when it was still going.

In the early years they would just post a picture a reader sent them, in later years they would make it into a competition in which people had to guess where this exact window was.

arab guests of our spa towns are often angry and they complain about walking dogs by local citizens. its surprise for me, that in pakistan are dogs ok.
f. e. owning a dog in Iran could result in 74 lashes..
"we angels do not enter a home in which there is a dog or a picture," angel gabriel told to prophet muhammad" :-) im glad that you are quite normal. (dog is not responsible for being dog, and pig is not responsible for being pig)

Not just in Pakistan. I've been places all over the muslim world (and with muslim families outside the muslim world) that had dogs, and I don't think there's any country in the world where keeping a dog is illegal (I'm really suspicious of that Iran thing, considering that there are 2-3 very famous Irani breeds of dogs, like the Sarabi dog, that have been used in Iran for centuries, never mind by their military for rescue).

I'd say the dislike of dogs is more a personal matter than anything else. There's no doubt that there are people even here that freak out of a dog comes near them. But it is certainly not a universal thing among muslims.

Anyhow, this is getting very far off topic.
Not really a view from my window, but maybe a view of my dogs' window? :D
https://i.imgur.com/oPKcHn9.jpg (you can see the first dog in the background there)
The view from the bedroom where I keep my gaming laptop most of the time is meh. Unless you have a thing for coniferous trees.

The first picture is what it looks like if I look directly to the left from where I sit, the second picture is if I peek down from the same window.

EDIT: I replaced yesterday's evening pictures with ones from today (around noon), as the sun in the background kinda screwed up the earlier pictures. Now the sun is on the other side. It rained pretty heavily in the morning but now sun started shining.
