Mori_Yuki: the games are not bundled. You get the original Jagged Alliance 2, or LBA 1+2 Free only if you are also going to buy the other version(s).

neumi5694: In this case it's (still) possible to get the orginal version from SirTec as standalone and apparently the same game as DLC from the new dev.

I'm very sorry, but I seem to miss your point. Isn't it the same case for both JA2 and LBA1/2? Classics can only be obtained after the new versions have been purchased.

Plok_HR: And no, the version tag for the installers is not correct either - 6.08 was a version exclusive to the Russian release; the latest English one is 6.04 and the latest German one is 6.06.

As a side note, it's worth mentioning that, unlike Wildfire, Jagged Alliance 2 Classic doesn't have linux installers.
(Neither does the "other" Jagged Alliance 2, anyway)

Not in this case. JA2 is still available separated without owning Wildfire or the "new" version.

But if you DO own Wildfire, you can buy the 'classic' version as DLC additionally.

If you buy all three, you end up with Jagged Alliance 2 by Sir-Tech Software / Strategy First and with Jagged Alliance 2 Wildfire and Jagged Alliance 2 by I-Deal Games Studios / TopWare Interactive.
