This is really great news!! I like to hear this dude's voice almost every day, he makes really good reviews. Great choice there.

Guter: What do you mean?

VoxDeNube: TotalBiscuit has health problems right now. I don't feel like talking about something like that, so if you are interested in details, feel free to check out his VLOG's for more information.

PS.
I apologise for this message. Looks like people already beat me to it.
That was since April. And the Vlog said he will get Surgery in 3 weeks. Has he gotten Surgery or is he still Suceptiple to the cancer?

He just finished the treatment. The surgery will be later.

lukaszthegreat: the issue is that there is no such thing as abandonware. Every game every produced with the exception of games which were released to the public domain (freeware is not one of them. not sure if any of games are in public domain) is copyrighted hence why abandonware sites are piracy sites. Therefore GOG has to sortof be careful when talking about them.
Furthermore talking about games which are not on gog can harm their sales. We all have limited time to play games and if we decide to play some game not on gog we are not buying games from gog. loss of profit.

realkman666: But someone has to hold the rights, no? Abandonware is not really a thing, but it describes a real situation.
hmm this is a quite interesting conversation, (not sure what has to do with this post). I was wondering about it when I discovered another site also specialized on old games, but labeled as abandonware... sad thing is, I found there some great old games that I would love to have here, even if I have to pay money for it, such as Grim Fandango, Hercules, Aladin, Prince of Persia (the original), and so many more... yet that's not the case...

Well, there is a difference between true abandonware, where the company closed without ever selling their properties and that kind of website that distributes games that are not available anymore. I don't have a real problem with either of those, but I do see a big difference.

Take Grim, for example. It will be made available again, so people who got it illegally find themselves in an unlawful situation.
For true abandonware, I don't even know if there is a way to claim the rights again to republish the game here.
It's no 'this week on gog.com' but it's still progress I guess. I miss listening to Enigmatic T.

so do I but sadly he is no longer with GOG
Huh, and here I was recently complaining that TB never advertised GOG anymore. Well played.
I feel that this is the right path to pursue. By selecting a number of YouTubers that share the interests and values of GOG, the company will be able to pick up some of Steam's customer base, amongst others. GOG needs to be better known and populated, because that will give them the influence to get more great games on the service.

As for my personal picks for Youtube partnerships:

Kimble Justice: The Great Giana Story

Lazy Game Reviews: Blood

Angry Joe: Risen 2

Ross's Game Dungeon: Tyrian 2000

Spoony's Ultima Retrospective: Ultima VII, Part I

Matthewmatosis: Uplink

Ancient Dos Games: Magic Carpet

Surgery doesn't usually always remove the cancer entirely. After surgery people will often undergo radiotherapy (getting zapped with radiation at a specific area) or chemotherapy (either pills or more likely injections of poison which will hopefully kill the cancer). Also, depending on the type of cancer there may be hormone blockers or other drugs which are intended to stunt the growth of the cancer.

Also, once the cancer is gone, it often comes back. :(
I'd rather have GOG partner up with TB than this guy.

SEVEN DOLLARS YO!

Schloop: Proof that GOG.com is more and more becoming less of what initially got me here.
Further proof that down repping is BS.

Gaunathor: GOG is using the US version of the game, which forces Delphi to wear a bra
avatar
TheJadedOne: Well that does it. I'm not buying any porn from GOG, EVER!
It looks like you can remove Delphi's top by deleting (or renaming) the bin\arpfix.gzp file. Maybe I'll reconsider buying porn on GOG.

I wonder if classics like "Wet - The Sexy Empire" or "Biing" will ever come to GoG. xD
