UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
Amazing job, thank you GOG/CDProjektRED! We all appreciate your efforts to make the PC Market and community better. Hope you will bring inside more DRM-free games and also some new AAA title.
Will the Surgeon Simulator - Anniversary Edition Content be added, for those who own the DLC too. That a nice idea and job you have there.
Finally was able to connect my accounts but now I am getting "no eligible games found" even thought I have a few from the list on Steam, and I jusr set my profile to public so GOG could find them. Any suggestions why its not detecting them?

Restart to click on the refresh button ("actualiser" in French) until it works.

Try refreshing the page
or just wait.
I woud probably waited a bit if i were you in case you have to start all over again if you refresh the page.
Love connect! Now I have 9 more games which I'd probably never play again otherwise because Steam can go f**k itself with a wooden stick :D I wish we could get all the steam games on gog.

Anyway, question. Wasn't Trine 2 in the list yesterday? Pretty sure I saw both Trine and Trine 2 (maybe also 3) listed, but I only got Trine, while 2 isn't even listed. Was I just seeing things?

No, only Trine Enchanted Edition was on the list.

I thought I saw those as well and they are part of the bundle sale for all the Connect games but then again all the other Broken Sword games are part of that sale and I don't recall them being part of the Steam Connect game list so maybe we both just saw them in that promo sale and got things confused.

Zkuq: If you can, please add a notification if Steam privacy settings prevent the games list to be properly scanned. It took me a good while to realize why it couldn't detect any of my games on Steam...

Also seems pretty stupid of Valve to apply the privacy settings to the API. If I have to explicitly allow a service to use my account, the chances are I don't mind the service looking at my games list. I like to keep stuff hidden from the world, so having to show it to everyone just to allow a third-party service (that I explicitly give consent to) to see my stuff is pretty stupid.
the steam api is meant only to be able to access public data, guessing pretty sure its a security thing, and a privacy thing.
as if it allowed the api to peer into the private profiles and such things many people probably wouldn't be too happy.
as it would defeat the idea of privacy and private profiles.

which ill admit many people didn't know your profile must be public, but its like that with many website which require information on your profile.
which thankfully we have this thread so people can read and figure it out.

but maybe gog staff could add in that the profiles need to be public during the scan, as then it wouldn't be so much of a hassle for those who don't know.

I've done that now already like dozen times. Still says I have no eligible games, which in my case should be Braid, Bit Trip Runner and Breach & Clear: Deadline.

I've already set Profile Status, Comment Permission and Inventory to "Public" in Steam account My Privacy Settings, and even unchecked the box Keep your Steam Gift inventory private. Still nothing.

Oh well, maybe it comes later... Have others gotten those three games "connected", and is it possible there are different kinds of Steam editions of some games, and GOG Connect recognizes only some? I've most probably gotten those three games as Steam keys from Humble Bundles.

I presume the Steam games don't have to be (ever) installed in order for GOG Connect to recognize them?

Couldn't care less about this, DRM, or wallpapers. Make it so my GOG games are available on STEAM and then it'll be something worthwhile.
Great news !

Any hope for something similar between GOG and Humble (Store/Bundle) ?

Yea that's probably it. Must have seen the rest in the sale.

Just wait and restart later, if you have them on Steam, they will be imported soon or late.

Any particular reason you felt the need to enlighten us with that? :P
