UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called <span class="bold">GOG Connect</span>. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, <span class="bold">GOG Connect</span> gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While <span class="bold">GOG Connect</span> will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.

Telika: Just saying : I've had this problem a couple of times. It worked the one time where I had un-ticked my games and re-selected them (the little square bottom right on the game's icon). No way to reproduce it, so, no way to know if it's a coincidence or not. But, just in case...

mechmouse: I just tried it and it worked.
Which moves it from coincidence to carelessness.

If anyone else can make it work we can make it Enemy Fire.
Was just coming on to say I've "successfully" selected my games twice now in the last 18 hours, only to have it come up that it's looking for eligibile games again. Thanks for this tip; I'll give it a shot. It's getting to the point where I really no longer care.

EDIT: That worked, in a matter of SECONDS. After 18 HOURS of it not working. This post needs to be stickied.

Ok guys. Finally worked for me.

Your Steam account must be set to public since gog did not take into account that most of us will have our accounts on Steam set to private. Refresh the connect page and your game should be there. After that you can make your Steam account private again.

Mine was failing event with account set to public.

I think the Gods of GoG are busy behind the scenes trying to fix what ever keeps failing.

They actually did take that into account.
It's right there on the GOG connect page. :P

Yeah but until I set the account to public gog did not recognize my game :) I don't know. They are probably doing a patchup work on the code and I might just got lucky and slipped through :) Also that notification for public profile was not there yesterday on the connect page.

And thanks to GoG and the kind Publishers. My GoG library has now passed the 200 mark, dwarfing the 89 games I have on Steam.

For me it finally found 2 of the three games.
Still not recognizing Van Helsing.
Well, I am now the proud owner of Van Helsing Final Cut on GOG! That and six other games that I already have DRM free from Humble.

Thank goodness I hadn't bothered to download Van Helsing on Steam, now I can just spend a month downloading it from GOG.
Cool Feature, thanks GOG! I hope it will get more movement than the CD Key Import function.

After some hickups, the connection between my accounts worked. But GOG found only games for import after I set my Steam profile (and inventory) on public.

Yes, I imagine that few publishers were willing to get on board with "Reclaim your Game" because it was too easy to exploit. This is far more promising.

Damn, GOG, you gorgeous, gorgeous creature. <3

If it helps anyone, I didn't need to set my inventory to anything but the private that it always stays at. Steam profile took a few minutes / refreshes to register the games once I turned it public, but once it was registered, everything was smooth sailing.
I think I see whee GoG is going with this. Making it easier to shift existing collections to GoG. I just hope it doesn't incentivize people to buy on Steam knowing that they might be able to move it to GoG eventually.

I hope it works out as they plan.

Finally it worked for me. Thanks!
I just cannot login to Steam on the website and I sent a support ticket to them. I tried everything and it's still not working. Sigh...
