Server down for me.
Odd, since I just finished buying it. It's unfortunate that Weird Worlds is pre-OS X Lion only (as it's a PPC app), but last I checked it did work in WINE.

I feel kind of bad paying as little as I did for this; can you up the amount that you paid post-purchase like you could with the HIB?
Ohh my. I really enjoyed playing this game when I got it from the Indie Royale bundle some time back, was a fantastic game to play between classes.

Could never get the hang of the combat though, seems that even on the lowest difficulty setting my ship still gets outclassed.
Never heard of this game before - how is it?
A few question about this game pack:
Fan Favorites Mod Pack what is this exactly? are these fan made or official mods, are they like dlc? Isn't there a place to download all the fan made mods for free?
Is Strange Adventures in Infinite Space worth playing or is the sequel just better in everyway?

SAiS may be worth playing, but not worth paying.
Because it's free http://www.digital-eel.com/sais/buy.htm
livefree: I loved SAIS, but the sequel is better in pretty much every way, and I've only very rarely played SAIS since Weird Worlds came out.

I've played both games for countless hours, though, and they never leave my hard drive. If you missed out on the Digital Eel bundle that Indie Royale did a while back, then make sure you don't miss out on this deal.

As for the mods, you can certainly get them all for free. I'm sure they're just including them for convenience, and to make sure that everyone knows that they exist in the first place.

(Actually, on that note, the mods do give you some potential reasons to fire up SAIS, as there is some definite variety between the SAIS mods and the Weird Worlds mods.)

It's pretty fun. I find it very hard though unless I use some of the overpowered items (that mirror artifact lets you pretty much skip any and all combat with the possible exception of certain special quests.)
Is the above-average bonus content worth it? Specially the mods and the music. Also, is there anything in the "Strange Adventures in Infinite Space Pack" that's not in the free version?

I'm definitely buying this, but paying above average may hurt my wallet a little. GOG and Steam sales are coming.

Not sure what's in it, but the average is only like $2. :P

Not sure about the Strange Adventures in Infinite Space pack, but I do know that the mods are freely downloadable from the official site. In my opinion, they're not really worth it and make the game crash a lot. The music and extras are pretty neat and worth the extra, in my opinion, but you probably won't miss much if you don't beat the average.
Can someone confirm you get a Steam key?

They didn't give one in the Indie Royale that featured the game, so I'm wondering what's up.

Against my better judgement (probably will never play it through Steam), I checked for you and yes, you do get a Steam key and yes, it does give you Weird Worlds.
