oh, I guess so. Same "Nifflas".. ;p
Is this an updated version of the game? I thought it was already available free from their website.

I think it's the same free version, but now paid... ;p
charity thing...
Wow... this really is the worst idea for a Christmas promotion ever. It'd seem better to just give money to the charity with no strings attached than "buy" free games.

PaterAlf: I pay money for free games, just to have them in my game wallet on Indiegamestand, so I can download them at awfully slow speed? And my money will go to a charity that more or less only patronizes hospitals in first world countries?

Sorry, but I don't think so...
I have a friend that spends 7-10 days a year traveling to the ends of the earth to perform surgery for this organization and can attest to the amazing work being done... ;-)

But the money isn't going to Doctors Without Borders, it's going to Child's Play.

I would happily donate some dollars to Doctors Without Borders (and did so in the past) who really do an amazing work worldwide. But unfortunately the money is going to Child's Play, an organization that is mainly about bringing video games to children in hospitals in the USA.

Don't want to be harsh, but that is really a first world problem. I wonder how many children in third world countries could have been vaccinated or fed instead for the millions of dollars they earn each year.

I realize that ;-) Just posting a link to a charitable organization along with my recommendation for anyone that wants it. I was simply responding to the concept that the charities listed for IGS might not be everyone's cup of tea as a place they want to donate their money too. ;-)

Personally I think IGS needs to check their privilege at the door which is why I was posting an alternative charity for anyone that wants to give to an organization that I personally know does charity right. The fact that over 80% of donations go to program services is spectacular! Plus, the work they do is pretty amazing ;-)

nijuu: BTA is Hydorah v1.1 (i swear i thought this game was actually free at some point?)
And it is. Both games are free. Hydorah is amazing.
Both games are fantastic. Locomalito is one of the most talented freeware developers and all of his games are great fun to play. I especially love 8bit Killer.
Maldita Castilla looks impressive.

Haven't they all been free games? I was under the impression that they were meant to be free games.

Yeah, look here: https://indiegamestand.com/christmas.php
