Freeman: Guerrilla Warfare is now available DRM-free. Get it 20% off until April 4th, 1pm UTC.

Freeman: Guerrilla Warfare is set in a chaos filled world occupied by battling factions, bandits and warlords who seek to rule the world.

The game is about your career as a faction leader: Start with minimal assets, you need to make money, build an army, wage wars against other factions and eliminate your rival forces with thoughtful strategies and fine marksmanship and eventually conquer the world. The game provides a completely different shooter experience which strikes a balance between intense first-person action and general strategy.

A freeman as in contrast to a noble or a serf, I presume.

So, GOG, are you going back to posting news at what amounts to 8 p.m. my time? I like that idea!

As for this game. It looks interesting, but my 940MX has no chance of running it. Wishlisted for now.

Cool, looks fun and a nice addition to the store.
Wow a 100% singleplayer only indie developed video game that actually looks very fun to play.

I will be purchasing Freeman: Guerrilla Warfare when it is done being developed as a In development video game and fully released for sale completed.

Thank you KK Game Studio I have been following your video game ever since you released it for sale on Steam.
Looks fun, even though I suck at FPS. I'll likely buy when it's released from indev.
Is this ARMA meets Mount & Blade?
low rated
I repeat my opinion : it's not worth the money .
Lawsuit incoming in 3...2...1... :P

Joking aside, it's looks like a pretty interesting game, especially if what is said about the AI tactics and the general realism is true. Such a shame that my PC won't cut it for now.

"Repeat"? Is there another post of yours commenting on it? Can you elaborate why it isn't worth it?

you could say that
I'll be interested to see how the update parity is with the Steam version.

I believe that is what some PC gamers said back in 2018 on Steam a few months after Freeman: Guerrilla Warfare was released for sale.

Which is one of the reasons why I am very excited to play this video game.

LOL that was my first thought - missed ARMA here (always super bummed about that - I wanted to try the "big" mod - I think it was a zombie one? Or maybe one that almost turned ARMA into this game? I forget).

Anyway - where the hell did this come from? Looks amazing - cheap too.

Any idea of In Dev time frame? I'm going to take a flier and grab it now. Love the concept - like you said sort of ARMA meets Mount and Blade or Kenshi meets FPS. Sort of almost reminds me of Dead State too (or whatever the game was where you build a little town and go out on raids during the zombie apocalypse - that one was 3rd person action though - first played it on Xbox and loved it).

*** EDIT *** LOL I'm an idiot (and getting old!) - STATE OF DECAY - not Dead State. Came to me 30 seconds after I hit Post.

Whoever decided to put a game like this on GOG needs to be ... questioned. IMHO.
Greetings!
