I like the way my shelf looks now except for a few bundles like Quest for Glory that have the same cover for every game.
As much as I hate the way this is done it's not necessarily a bad thing for a large part of it, and everyone refreshing their accounts are probably just asking for trouble. Heck, that function is unsafe even during peacetime. I still see no changes on my account. I'll let gog push the refresh when they think it's ready..
Dear god, i'm finally done redownloading the unbundled games. Took me hours, thankfully I had old episodes of LEXX to distract me from the monotony. The redownloading is the only thing I didn't like about the unbundling, now if gog can just fix the "product_bonus" glitches.
After seeing these horror stories, I refuse to refresh my account :D

It doesn't matter really since download links to old bundled games don't exist anymore. If you click on a download link for HoMM Chronicles (or any other formerly collection pack) in your non refreshed library for example you will get an error like a lot of people did already unless you refresh the page and get the new 8 download links for what is basically one game :)

Huh strange, I just tried downloading an older link and it still works

Interesting. Seems gog is doing the account rehash manually then and which means that bundled downloads are actually still available but they are denying them to users.

Many of the "new" unbundled box covers look really bad. Will we get the original ones eventually, or at least a possibility to add our own cliparts?
I will start downloading and managing my backup and the shelf if everything is done. I hope at some point that maybe gog wll release an updated shelf very soon, at least will give some hints if there is something in the pipe that makes sorting and grouping easier.

Right now I occur two problems - fallout 1 seems to be gone again and at a diffrent place there ist a free spot. Also I can't rearrange the shelf (wanted to put at least Fear 2 beside Fear 1. As it seems we are right now still in an interims phase it would be a little bit early to make a conclusion. Personally I like the idea to have for every game it's own cover, but it really depends on how well the unbundling will go and how the shelf functionality will be improved.

Edit: And fallout 1 is back ;-) But still no rearrangement possible, but that's not really a problem for me right now.

I had this problem once that I could not rearrange the games. Switching to list view and than back to shelf view solved the problem. No clue if it will help in your case but you could try it.
Fallout, and Avernum 6 is missed from my library.. Also DLCs for Battle Isle is called "HISTORYLINE 1914-1918" and "Incubation" now, its kind of hard to find, + Ultima Underworld 2 has the same name as part 1.
IMO let the people choose, unbundle all the games, but let the game packs remain (its ok if its not on galaxy list). Isnt that better solution? Its better to download stuff when its in one pack, now its all messed up, idk what to to download now..

And Fallout disappeared for the third time now. Ah, well.
Fallout's still here for the time being.
I have edited my post: Fallout 1 is now back on the shelf, which is the good news.

I'm still not delighted to have spotted a game called soft porn adventure, now fully exposed and IMHO displaced, and which I didn't even know I had.

I guess GOG.com should have given us the choice between the old display et the unbundled one.

That's not big deal anyway
